Thank you very much you guys. Yes, this is my spot to regroup. Thank you for the support. Not sure of anything as far as who is coming to my house. My sister lives across state and step daughter is trying to fly back again with GS and my daughter well, she's another whole story. but, the funeral isn't till Monday and I won't even go there as to why. !@#$%^ any how I will be just fine. I will think of your words of being able to come here and vent. and I will get through all this. Hugs

I’m sure you’re functioning as a quiet support for your husband. It must be very difficult to stay neutral when people are behaving really disgracefully.

Make sure you steal off by yourself often this week to take time to breathe, even if it’s just a few minutes at a time. Somebody needs to stay sane, and you’ve been doing great so far.

Thank you, Gilmer! What a trip so far! Life changing. We haven't seen any violence, at all. Of course we're not near Gaza but was in the West Bank yesterday and the old city today - all was safe and quiet.

Woke from a restless night with a migraine. Take. The tablets and tried to sleep some more. Feeling a little less pained, but remembering now, how debilitating those bloody hangovers could be! How the frick did we live with them on a daily basis???

Off to York again tomorrow for the weekend, there will be the Christmas markets now and last minute bargains to tempt the wallet. Also there will be seething masses of slow moving single celled organisms who can focus only on one thought at a time, leading to frequent emergency stops to gaze sightlessly around themselves wondering where they are ( in space and time), to snatch and grab any item that has less than 4 remaining on the shelf, to clatter sharp cornered bags off of unsuspecting passers by and to moan to anyone who shows the slightest interest that; 'it's perishing cold' 'where has this year gone to' and 'it's all such a waste of money' . Oh the joys! ( Bah Humbug!)

Hello everyone !!! How are my Marchers today?
I'm still writing out thank you notes for the memorial and etc. that the family
received. and I think after this week-end things and times and life style will finally get back to normal. (what ever that is)
I'm doing ok. I know where the alcohol is for sure in this house. Coming here and just remembering your kind words that it's not going to get me anywhere helped me 100%.
well, I haven't really had time too catch up with everyone but, just wanted to peek my head in and say HI !. Hugs to you

Two weeks into this new job and the owner takes me aside. "Is this in your ability? We may need to grow this company next quarter. By a factor of 10."

My Dad came by to see the place. Being the manufacturing guy that got me into this industry in the start, he always wants to see what I'm up to. He was stunned and amazed. I was stunned and humbled at the praise given me by my new coworkers.
