NOoo! Rest back to Day 1.. only had 8 beers but enough to remind me drinking is **** and a waste of money..
Congratulations to those that have over taken me.
I'm in good spirts at least & keen as to stay sober.

It's good that you're straight back here... it's easy to let each slip be a huge spiral
Hello, friends! Got to check in quickly before heading to bed....my weekend job gets me up extra early but it keeps me outta trouble (knock on wood!)
I'll stop back by tomorrow when I can catch up on reading posts. Hugs to you all! Let's go Team August!

Sweet dreams x
First thing when I get up is start on my recovery plan, look into that link about urge surfing (thanks, Dee), make myself a good breakfast and just enjoy my Saturday morning.
I'm also taking it one day at a time. Good night, everyone.
Good night.
HI to all in the August 2017 class. Welcome to SR. 5 years ago I took my last drink... and found SR. The August 2012 class became my new family... tomorrow I celebrate 5 years of sobriety ... I have enjoyed many sober camping trips in that time PC.... the first one I tried to ensure I had a small amount of time to access this site.... ensure you have a plan ... it will feel great to wake up without a hangover ready to enjoy a full day of camping. It helps if any camping friends know you are not drinking before you go.... I told them I was just stopping for 6 months .... as it was family and I didn't see them all the time .. now they consider me a non drinker .... it can be done. Welcome to SR all of you!
It's really late (or really early) here... 3:30am. So officially into day 2. I did not think I'd get through day 1. This is probably because I don't have a recovery plan yet and too many triggers around me. But, I'm glad to say that I'll be going to bed sober, at least tonight.

Checking in 8:26pm day 12. Been really busy preparing for the school year which begins on the 14th. Last night was a mandatory parents meeting and tonight was a family BBQ to welcome all the kids back and let them see their classrooms, meet their teachers, etc. I have one kid going to 6th grade (middle school, whaaat!) and one going into second grade. My youngest won't start kinder until next school year, so he'll be home with me another year
I've been feeling really good. I've had a couple moments where I felt "sad" about not drinking ever again, but I realize it's just my AV and there's nothing to mourn. I've been making a point to actually do my hair and make-up everyday, which was a rarity back in my drinking days. My husband has complimented me every day telling me I look beautiful and how proud he is. My kids have also told me I look pretty. I'm so blessed by my family.
Thanks for reading, sorry I was a little long winded lol. I hope everything is going well for you all. Here's to another 24!
