I just blew half my day screwing around with my SR profile. It's an addiction I tell you! And it will never be perfect because I get tired of it every other day.
Perfectionist problems.
I'm feeling better today because I decided last night that I'm going to beg my therapist to let me see him in three months to check on my recovery. I'll see the other person too, but I want to ease the transition by keeping a thread of connection. It feels so much safer this way. If he says no I will literally throw an actual fit.
I hope our ladies are feeling okay today!

That sounds like a reasonable plan to me too, Briar. I'm glad to hear that today feels a bit better.
Lunch with the girlfriends was great. Our host just purchased an air fryer, the underlying reason for our meet-up. We put all kinds of stuff in that thing...sweet potato fries, bacon, chicken, ... It all turned out pretty well. And I'd love to have one, but I'd have to store it in the garage...they're huge! Lol

Was jamming out to this song in the car and thought I'd share. I used to karaoke it all the time when I was struggling to get sober. It means a lot to me now. Too bad I never go to karaoke anymore. Oh well.

Hello my friend's. Thank you so much for all the prayers and healing vibes. I'm doing really well. I walked the halls 5 times. Pain management has come a long way, and I've not had much intolerable pain. This is so far, easier than my last hospital stay.
Still tired and a bit dizzy, but that's to be expected.
Leigh, I hope you get your tummy troubles sorted out.
Briar, big hugs. I like your plan to check in with him in a few months.
