OMG!!! The sun is out!!! and it's 52F!!! Going to take the dog for a long walk while DD is at a friends house. Natural vitamin D and exercise for the win today.

Morning class. A later check in for me today....work day is already more than half over which i am not complaining about. Tomorrow is a day off and a day alone - DH and DD are working....I am actually looking forward to it.
Another positive (especially for those that live in the same house as me) It seems like I am not quite so miserable today....woot!! But I am jealous of your sunshine CH...it's mild here but still soooo grey.
Well back at it...I won't drink today!!

I won't drink today either! Had a good morning at work (in my opinion, anyway....some two-legged individuals like to be difficult and blow nothing out of proportion, so we'll see tomorrow....all the more reason to not be hungover!)
Getting caught up on laundry & I may cross stitch for a bit....maybe catch a meeting later on? I should check the schedule......either way I need to stay close to you guys....consider yourselves warned!

If anyone is interested, here is a link to some worksheets/articles/homework assignments from SMART Recovery ~ I ordered their handbook as well. It's quite overwhelming but I guess that's normal!

Pup and I walked 4 miles today! It didn't feel that long...we were both enjoying being outside. Then I went to the grocery store to stock up on some healthy food items including a big bag of frozen fruit/veg for smoothies, then I built one of my storage cabinets for the bathroom redo. The pork chops I want to make for dinner won't finish thawing until tomorrow...so now I need to figure out dinner.
All in all a great and productive day!!

Hi guys! Closing out day 21 here. I had a little mommy daughter date with my baby girl today. That was fun. Made a killer dinner and a big cast iron skillet cookie for dessert. Then helped the kids sorted 3,200 legos by color into the two lego tables we make them for Christmas. Believe it or not it was kind of nice to sit there and do something mindless for a bit.
Now I'm curled up in bed and going to thumb through my 3 new paleo cookbooks.

Morning Sam. Not sure how the movie was as my little one was up from 1030-2 so I didn't get to finish half of it. Exhausted! Biggest trigger for me. Today is my now 7 year old's actual birthday. What a whirlwind of a weekend.

I'm finally not sick so I've been going on walks all weekend, including my local Women's March yesterday
The weather's been pretty mild so I've been enjoying being outside and being healthy!
Good to see others getting out as well.

Happy thoughts to those who are struggling. I'm starting out Day 9 without a drop. Feels good. You can do it too. One day at a time. I could grieve the 80 sober days I gave up, but I'd rather move forward ya know?

Sam it is sooooo good and super easy! It's the only thing my husband requests for his birthday. I made one for my daughters dessert table at her birthday party and it was the 1st thing gone.

We are going to be gone most of the day visiting my husbands grandmother. It's always fun sitting at her house watching telemundo on TV. Unless someone cusses I don't understand a word they are saying. I'd take yo gabba gabba all day over that.
I won't drink but I can't guarantee I won't poke my eyes out with a fork then shove my eyeballs in my ears!

Checking in on a blustery Sunday morning - well, afternoon actually - just finished work & I am now at a meeting about to start at 1 pm - been to this one once before - cool 'cause its outdoors and people bring their dogs! Yay
