Good morning, Overs!
Quiet here, fall down mood time and using my lights for the past week. Time to get myself moving.
Sassy kitty has definitely been diagnosed with dementia but I am having a difficult time letting go. She has been with me for over 16 years.

Congrats on your engagement, VC.
Yes, Glee...it sooo amazes me how after reading something like 5 times in the past from the BB - I get something that has been staring at me all along. Sunday's BB mtg was exactly what I needed. Really enjoyed our discussion on fixing our spiritual malady last eve. I've been growing old for quite a long time - it's nice to be learning how to now grow up, too.
It's mid 60's and sunny here and I would be golfing but for the tiny fact that I threw my back out of wack at the gym yesterday.
Phoe, good for you at moving forward - I try to remember that it is progress/not perfection that works.

Thank you, all! I had never imagined a cat with dementia. But I guess I should be grateful - Sassy kitty is the second oldest I've ever had a cat. My sweet and very huggable Pete was 18 when a tumor finished him.

I fully expect to find a cat in my DD's bedroom one day. There's a very friendly cat on the way from school and I'm sure she will catnap it. It's not just her there was a queue to pet it yesterday.

Our furkids know us and love us anyway. Touching and being touched, almost convincing us as worthy of love. We know their secret smile, reserved for our daily homecoming and welcome celebration. I'm sorry it is time for Sassy kitty.

I got some good news this year. My old health insurance company is fleeing the state, but I'm getting a new policy today that's actually a bit cheaper than the old one. So, that's a nice change of pace for once.

Good morning everyone. I have my procedure to remove the spot of carcinoma my dermatologist found this morning- hopefully the last one. Other than that I'm still doing well.

Carlos, during the nearly 6 months I attended AA meetings regularly, I especially appreciated the BB and step meetings.

It feels so great to know that we can come here and get wonderful support and understanding as we deal with life's ups and downs. I'm finding it especially hard this time to let go of my kitty. It really is time though as long as she isn't in pain, I will probably wait until January.
