I think I have the best sister in the world.
I've been burning up PTO for family emergencies and for my minor car wreck. Which really only means more time working while trying to study for my licenses and packing this apartment to move.
My financial situation was looking a little grim. I make enough to pay the bills and even enough to pay for the new car. The wreck kicked all that to the curb.
So, I head for the laundromat to do a load of work shirts. Nope, "card denied".
Horsefeathers. I just used it an hour before.
Back home to check the bank account. No problems there. Got a good balance. Wait. Who's putting money in my account?
My sister.
I was trying to figure out how to approach her for help as the extra expenses were beyond me. She beat me to it.
I owe her so much in the past few years. She has supported me emotionally and financially as I struggle to rebuild my life.

Aww Trachy what a wonderful sister, you are blessed. I am so glad that you appreciate her for all she has been doing. Your continuing sobriety is probably all the reward she seeks.

Trach that is beautiful. What a special sister you have and she certainly loves you.
Guys, not doing so great here. Too much is happening too soon and I'm pretty terrified. The job is ok but really having trouble adjusting to the new schedule and missing my kids. I'm even second guessing the divorce, not bc I want to be with him but I am so scared ab sharing custody and missing my kids. In FL it's 50/50 so that's half the time without my little boys. The anxiety is overwhelming and I didn't sleep at all last night I'm beyond exhausted. I am really really really overwhelmed right now.

Trachy, so great that you have a lovely supportive sister. What a nice thing for her to do!
(((Duff)))! Change is often hard. Please take time to breathe and relax. I have a feeling that you are a perfectionist ... and life has its very messy times. This is one of them for you. Like the directions for oxygen masks on airplanes, this sounds like a good time to follow that advice: take care of you first and remember this will get better!

Duff, major life change is scary. Just remember: in order to take care of your kids you have to take care of yourself first. I know the anxiety can be overwhelming. I've been ready to crash and burn for a couple of weeks.

Wow guys - I brought my iPad to the office and keep reading your posts. It's so helping me get through the day and I feel stronger already. Your love and encouragement means so much to me. And so great to know that none of us are alone.
