Suze, I can't believe how quick your trip has come around! Where will you visit and who?? I hope to have daily updates!
FTG, sounds like you are beginning to practice letting go. The more you use a muscle the stronger it gets.
Amp, sounds like a fun job!
Mags how's your job going now you have gotten to know the work and the people better?
Itchy you sound like you were organised even as a little kid! I have visions of you organising your diapers in the drawers in sizes and color arranging your onesies!!
Off to Discovery Cove today, not getting up close with the Dolphins as I have ethical issues, but I expect a relaxing day out.
Have a Momentous Monday everyone!

Good morning, Overs!
Itchy, you are so right about carrying our own space with us.
I watched debate #2 last night. I am appalled at how loosely the term "debate" is used to describe what goes on. Listening to the pundits leaves me wondering if we watched different events. I felt that both candidates were incredibly rude to the small audience asking questions. Their answers did little to illuminate the issues. And, oh, the rudeness! I can't help but be reminded of gladiators in the arena fighting to the death - though in this case it would be the death of the audience due to boredom
Have a lovely day, Overs!

It's a circus no matter what side you fall on! I agree Gilmer- that's an interesting premise.
I had my very first drinking dream last night....woke up terrified then realized it was a dream. What I remember of it, I was plagued of guilt, remorse and literally a bad taste in my mouth so clearly my subconscious doesn't carry good memories either. It was a stark reminder that nothing good lies down that path. Whew! Thankful to be sober today.
Have an amazing Monday, Overs!!!

The other night my friend came to check on me after my little surgery, and she was drunk. Not obnoxious, not even annoying ~ she was funny. But the smell....oh, that terrible smell. She hugged me, and after she left, I could still smell it, and I felt like I could taste it. It was VERY disconcerting. I felt guilty as well. Weird huh?
Nothing good down that path at all....you are so right Dharma love.
Have a great day. ♥

Why did you feel guilty Venus?
It's Thanksgiving here, so it's a long weekend. Had a HUUUGE Thanksgiving dinner at my brother's last night, his obnoxious mother in law was there, she talks down to everyone and says the most outrageous things. Last night she said that we should "cut down all the trees and shoot all the dogs" in the city. All stray dogs should be euthanized.
My car broke down yesterday and I thought that it was dead, but I brought it to my brother who is a mechanic and it turned out to be the cheapest fix, spark plugs, THANKS BE TO YE GODS, bought a bit more time in the old Coroll's Royce.
My dad, the world's loudest eater, just sat down beside me to eat breakfast and has ruined my little solitude moment. Ah well.
I am very excited to move. This is the farthest west in the city I've ever lived on my own. It's a great neighbourhood, close to Granville Island and lots of shops so I can walk to whatever I need, I'll save money on gas.
Anyway off I go. One more day of long weekend.

I wish I hadn't opened my mouth about the election earlier. I 've been agitated ever since.
In speaking on here I feel like I vomited in a public place!
I know you all probably don't care, but I feel bad.
