Fingers crossed for good news Zip!

A huge shout out to Amp for hitting 18 months today!! I have had the pleasure of getting to know you like a brother on our April 2015 thread and have often marveled at the personal growth you have attained since our early days together. You have done so much for me on this journey to help keep me sober that can not be expressed in words! Enjoy your special day today!

Thanks mate. You likewise have had a huge impact on me and my development. It's hard to identify all of the elements that have lead to us getting this far, but for sure, if it hadn't been for you and a few others, some of whom are also on this thread, there's no way I would have made it! Love you guys!

I know where Clifton is! It's a cool little town (though I know it's modernized now).

Hope your reunion was fun!

Good morning Overs.

Congratulations Amp

Saskia have a safe journey.

Have a fantabulous Friday everyone.

PS. As we mostly exist for each other in a purely word based world I liked this quote from Mike Dooley :-

When you understand that what most people really, really want is simply to feel good about themselves, and when you realize that with just a few well-chosen words you can help virtually anyone on the planet instantly achieve this, you begin to realize just how simple life is, how powerful you are, and that love is the key.

Love that quote Andy, and certainly somewhere like SR, we often hate ourselves, I certainly loathed the person I became. The validation I felt from the love I recieved here in response to putting myself, my thoughts and my experiences out there, went a huge way to helping me to learn to like myself again and believe myself worthy of loving.
I always try to say things that will boost a person rather than drag them down both here and IRL.

Lying in bed with the curtains open looking out at the Mediterranean with the sun sparkling over it. Hubby is wondering how we will ever get used to it!!!

Just wanted those powerful words "out there" again.
Thank you, this will stay with me.
