I obviously need to check in for accountability, to avoid Lillian's darker side taking over. Wish my name was Lillian because it sounds much sweeter than I actually am today. So....checking in here on Day hmmm, 113 or so. Hate the day count because life isn't about day counts but that's all I'm going to say about that (to quote Forrest Gump). Let it go....let it go...as the song says.
A little tired of living in misery so today, I will focus on today. What is good about today? My children are healthy, I have a job, my home is lovely and I'm researching kitchen remodeling today, my dogs are asleep at my feet, I'm still in my PJ's while I work. There, now come back Lillian.

To anyone struggling....you got this. You are the strongest group of people I know. You may not feel it, but you are. Every time you come here to SR, that shows how really strong you are because most people don't fight addiction.

Hope your days get better. You are doing great with the whole sobriety thing. You do have a lot of good going on today. Hope the rest sorts itself out.

It is way too quiet in here tonight!! Where is everyone!!
My night has gone well....I am currently showered and curled up in my pj's (at 6pm...lol!!) - my lunch is made for tomorrow, my face is washed and I am sipping a cup of Sleepytime Tea
Lillian - I am tired of living in misery too - thanks for the reminder that we all have so much in our lives to be thankful for

Ladybug - I wish I slept well but I am a terrible sleeper - it will definitely be a sleeping pill night for me tonight. We got the storms last night (I love them too) but they sadly did nothing for the humidity

Just walked in. Sam! I'm kind of jealous too. My soccer game tonight is at 10:30. Never mind I'm too old to play, I'm too old to stay up that late.
I think I'm going to walk my dogs. Last time I walked them together , it didn't end well for me. The dogs got tangled and the younger one dragged me down the street. It was funny except for the skinned knee.
It's awfully quiet here. How's everyone?
