Class of August 2013 - Part 16
Hi all! I'm late posting but happy to see our little thread still chugging after 4 years
And I just hit 1.5 years no cigarettes. So grateful.
Many blessings to all of you as we continue on the journey.

Congrats on the no smoking. Good to see so many of us doing well four years in.
Hello
Hey all! It’s been a long time. This time of year always has me feeling a little nostalgic. I was cleaning the kitchen, and suddenly had that old familiar feeling in the pit of my stomach. It’s been over 4 years and yet somehow that feeling still blindsides me occasionally.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Hello, friends.
I hope this note finds all are doing well. It's wintry and cold here. Surprise!
Our friend, Elseware, checked in today on the main forum and reports she is well. Made my heart jump!

Hey Classmates!
August is not just here but already more than halfway gone.
I hope this update finds all are doing well. Oceanlady and Ornithology have popped up and it's so good to see those familiar names.
Sobriety is the norm on this end. It's helped a lot this year. I can't believe I'm writing about death again ... but something terrible happened in my family. At the end of May, my beloved nephew died. This has been, as you can imagine, very painful. He was 19.
I'm so grateful for my sobriety. It helps you endure the hardest things.
The rest of life goes on. My trip to Australia was last September (time *does* fly) and it was one of the happiest adventures of my life. I've been sticking a little closer to home this year.
My very best to all. Hope folks pop in this month!

Hello, friends. My fifth year of sobriety ends later this week. Which is not to say that I intend to start drinking again later this week. I just mean that....oh, never mind. You know what I mean. Congratulations, everybody.
