The canoe was a big success! My daughter was so surprised. We had an excellent first outing for a couple of hours yesterday...it was so relaxing!

She was also happy with the Carrie Underwood concert tickets for her and a friend...we are going to see her tomorrow night!

Fortunately not today. I am at the headquarters for Badger Worldwide Enterprises this week. The lines will drive one to drink. I default to either TSA pre screen or first class (based on points). TSA has had some cuts and its hard to keep staff as I understand. Congress will have to up the budget somehow or risk all out smackdowns nationwide.

Hello Sadie. How are you today? From what I can gather your job is difficult and can take a little bit of your soul every day. I know some folk that work in child protective services. Same kind of issues I would think? Dont let it put you down. You have to be healthy to perform. Don't feel guilty when you need a break. God knows most could not do that job.

I'm doing OK...it was a very busy but great weekend...looking forward to the concert tomorrow night...it's so nice not to worry about driving places and being out late!!!

I know what you mean. I usually don't notice em anymore, but I saw a huge floor display for Corona at my local supermarket yesterday. Annoying, and a little sad. I never realized how much society pushes booze. I feel like we were all brainwashed into buying it.

I usually pay no attention either. It started on Friday here.... entire food department in the store was corona and beach like theme. Just everywhere. I just had a long talk with myself about why I don't drink and it just will never work. Alcohol really is everywhere and advertisers try so hard to make it "fun". Its not fun.

In other news.... I really am going to sell my house. Made a solid decision. Going to call my client that offered to buy it this afternoon, if she is no longer interested.... I shall list!

I thought of you this weekend Badger, I saw a news story on the horrendous lines at Chicago. Shortage of TSA employees due to presidential candidates. I have a solution for that.....

Ten or 11 I think. Way too young to have arthritis/hip problems. He's started to live in an open box in a closet. I moved his food and litter box into that room so he doesn't have to walk very far.

Awe...do you give Charlie fish oil? Can cats take glucosamine like dogs can? Those made a world of difference in my last very arthritic dog.
