What I love about this thread is that it doesn't have to be New Year's Day, this thread is an open invite, 24/7/365 (or in case of this year 366), to let everybody else know that TODAY I will not drink. Doesn't matter if this is Day 1, Week 1, Month 1 or Year 1 or beyond, by checking in here you are making a public commitment to stay sober for today and after all, the past is gone and tomorrow is always in the future, so today is all we have for certain. RahRah signing in late...first new years eve I went to bed sober and I still woke up sick!!!!! With the flu! At least I only feel bad physically...not mentally or emotionally.
But Im here...at 4:09pm in Ontario, Canada....for another day of sobriety...20 days! Can't believe it!!!
