Life can be a struggle sometimes , you have to push through it .
As I just mentioned to someone I can feel a dark cloud descending. Geez I hate that emotional roller coaster. That's why I asked you how long it took for you to feel 'normal'.

I'm not at all tempted to drink right now, but my brain can't imagine never drinking again, and my brain wonders if I'm really happier sober.

Damn brain.

That's good, Shabby. I liked the cowboy using the lint remover.

On on that good chuckle, I shall say goodnight.

Take care all.

It gets better.

I learnt you have to let go of a lot of things to keep your sobriety . Some days it hurts more than others . I know what you mean about FB I hardly go on any more . A lot of my family's on there , they all know I quit ( had a problem ) they post there drinks pic's - parties they are in ... Unreal
Makes me Crazy sometimes . Then I surf for Sober pic's online , to show them look what can happen !! I never have posted them yet Soooon LOL

Hah!! Great link, thank you. I love cats. If I changed my gender and got old I'd be a fine candidate for a 'Crazy Old Cat Lady'.

I love the lint remover the best too.

So does this mean we are curtailing it on the sound cloud front? I dunno, am I right in thinking that some random person I know just might possibly click on that link and think "I know that person?! It's ......." Seems pretty unlikely to me. Or am I missing something? Is it more about WHAT you say that might be a problem? I want to hear everyone's voices. Funny, I thought Sao was younger than 55....

Getting the Cats out of the Tree was pretty funny too . I would think more of what you say on that Cloud , you both didn't say anything out of the way or mention names cept - ones we use here ..
So you will just have to Wonder what a Hick chic sounds like That's a Knee Slapper

I could never envisage myself not drinking either but I continued to stay sober and I changed. I had to - I was dealing with so much stuff sober - actively dealing with it, not running away - you can't help but grow.

It's a bona fide miracle, but it's one that's available for each of us I think.

how long have you been on your current med Frank?

I think on on my 4th week of generic Cymbalta. It seems to be helping. Doc said 4-8 weeks. I guess if it wasn't working I wouldn't be posting here.

I think you're doing great too, Frank.

Loving this supportive community. Frank, have you read Dee's recovery story yet, under 'Stories of Recovery' or some such thing. Highly recommended. Three thumbs up!

Well, fine folks, time for me to try to escape the incoming dark clouds and seek my escape with another (short) block of sleep. Sleep and booze are the only remedies, and booze is not an option.

Catch ya'all a bit later, when I wake up.

I love you all, I really do.
