Troy I feel you on that. Now if I didn't have any work I would be freaking out, but having so much is overwhelming, and it's not like it won't be there tomorrow if I just take all day today to drink, right? Ugh.
Checking in on Day 3. Looking forward to hitting 30 days in May like all those April-ers did

After being signed up on here for a little under 2 months, I'm officially signing up for this month's "class". In the mail today, I got another sobriety book to read and several notebooks so I can journal my sobriety (in one) and write other concerns/non-sobriety stuff in another one.
My Droid tablet shows them. Go figure.
I guess that's one notch for the droid fans :/

There is only the faintest hint of light in the morning sky, but I can already tell that it is a great day to stay sober. Although, it may require a nap or two as well.

Well past the 48 hour part. So far, physical symptoms seem to have diminished, main thing that remains is feeling in a VERY low mood (met up with a friend earlier, cried a bit, which helped). That and still full of anxiety about the very near future. The depression and the anxiety being linked. Serotonin levels more or less completely tanked.
It just breaks my heart that I'm not going to be teaching at my old school, going to miss my students so, so much. And worried about how I'll do at my new school - just hope I can meditate myself back into a better frame of mind, or else the new students are going to have some crappy lessons.
