Class of January 2015
Hello everyone, I'm ready to stop drinking. Not saying this through new year hangover or anything as I poured drink down the drain last night just after the bells and already had drank few. Just very bored of drinking every night just to stop cravings. Will stay here for support if ok and to support others. My addiction is progressing very quickly, there's no going back. Love MrsL.
Hello everyone. If it's ok with you all I'm going to make this class my home and pick January 1st 2015 as my new sober date. I have been sober a little bit longer than that but I like the idea of starting the new year off this way. I previously had a few years of sober time but threw it away over Christmas.
Being sober is awesome...I loved my life without having that obsession to drink and I want it back. Main problem for me is having a hubby who drinks.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know you all.

Hello everyone (and a very happy birthday to you, Kevin )
I'm from the class of January 13 and will be celebrating 2 years sober on the 27th.
I have learned so much from SR and have met some wonderfully wise and compassionate people. One of the things I learned early on was not to be ashamed of my addiction and not to let it hold me back. For me, the benefits, both physical and psychological came very quickly and were extremely motivating, but reading and posting here has been the real game-changer.
Please know that you will never be alone on this journey xxxx

Hi everyone, I'm giving sobriety another shot, I really want it to stick this time. I spent 1/4 of last year sober, so I'll aim for all of this one... my life cannot go on being dominated by this liquid. I need to quit and I hope you will all help me and I will help you in any way I can. HNYTY x
