Well it is tricky, I have december minus Christmas to make a lasting impression. After that I move and she stays. Oh dear oh dear. I met her the week after I announced that I would go back to Sweden. We've agree on a date when we are both back in 10 days. I am stressed but I think that there is a chance.

I am great! I enjoy being sober, and I am constructing a good life for myself without drinking.

I have ups and downs with life but overall I feel really good. And I'm convinced I made the right decision!

So true! I've been out to casual dinners and even bar visits with friends and enjoyed it sober. And I remember what I enjoyed when I wake up next day!
Are you still doing bee hives?

I didn't get to do as much beekeeping as I'd like this year, but there are already plans for next year!

I can't go to bars with people, but I also don't get invited. I was never simply social in bars, I used them to get totally smashed, so I think it's better to stay away.

I'm glad you are able to go anywhere and enjoy yourself!

Don't worry about not going to bars, I prefer going to a café with my friends if I get ti choose
I'm at the airport to meet the girl who has been home to visit her mum. I bought her a little box of chocolates but when I forgot to wash my car and it's dirty! Oh well, gotta prioritize right?!

Work, if a girl likes you she won't care if your car is dirty. If she's a nice girl she will be so thankful you went and picked her up.

Hi all Septies
I wanted to check in and tell you that I am still sober and things are pretty good.
At this point I really appreciate sobriety, I could never handle emotions without drinking when I was drinking.
And drinking only enhanced to negative emotions and ruined any sense of hope for a positive outcome in any event.
So yeah, I am really grateful to be sober.

Oh and things are proceeding slowly with the girl. And that's great, because I am getting to know her at comfortable pace. I dont want to take chances by cutting corners and such, its not a game to me and I am not trying to win.

Checking in again. Staying sober through my current roller coaster . And that's good, couldn't manage this while drinking.
The girl I am seeing asked me about drinking and I told her the truth. Then we kept talking about our closet skeletons. Important stuff afterall.
