Congratulations PBC!
Hope all of us are making progress
I was home and got my two year coin at my AA home group 2 weeks ago.
Working the steps is not always easy and progress is slow but it is still progress.
Most important thing is not to be drinking and being aware of one's thoughts and emotions
and not fall into the trap of thinking that "I might be cured, I can drink again".
*shiver*

Good to hear Melina I am Happy for you!
I am well and turning 36 years old today. In a few hours I'll go for coffee and a piece of case or something with friends
Will movie back to Sweden but a different region during the holidays for a more interesting job than my current one.
Hopefully I'll be so satisfied that I remain for atleast 2 years or longer. Keeping my fingers crossed for that

Hi all, Im still here and more importantly still sober, think its 144 days today (Im not used to getting to big numbers in sobriety!), yeah it is I just counted back! Hope everyone is ok, happy belated birthday work! Celebrated my 35th last week stone cold sober and it was great!

Hey 1step! Great to hear that you are through the first 3 months just keep doing it because it gets easier the longer you abstain!
Over here I am still sober but I am facing an unusual stressor. I am moving back to Sweden from Denmark as my current employers couldnt afford me as consultant or offer me a permanent position either. I found a new job which is very promising and I look forward to start.
But now I've met a girl here and I am having a psychiatric condition commonly known as love :/
I haven't been in this state for 8 or 9 years because of broken heartedness, then drinking and now vigilant sobriety.
I have over 2 years now so I meet minimal requirement but this is tiger country for me.
I have to figure out how much she likes me and if I can find a way for us to keep seing each other after I move
My head is with me on this ready to control the heart but I will stay closer now because I may need some support to prevent an unlikely relapse if I get too heart broken again.

Hi Worko, it sounds quite funny but yes, it is tiger country ! You're wise to stay close here as your emotions will be on a roller coaster ! But, I think thats a good sign this time as it means you're alive, living and breathing, and enjoying life !
