Serene so sorry for your loss. There are no words that can make a situation like that better so just know I am sending you a big virtual hug. Here if you need to vent/grieve

Feeling so so wehav my love ~ I am taking extra magnesium and a whole heap of Vit C.
I didn't go with any of the homeopathic remedies as they use alcohol bases mostly. I'm not doing that. I think the all of the fresh air I get walking in this delivery job is good for me as well. Next step is going to be learning some deep relaxation techniques; that should be funny.

Hi all -
Thank you SOOO much for hugs and support. It really touched my heart today when I logged back in. I'm feeling much better. Busy week with people visiting plus midterms & today is my first morning to have some 'me' time and enjoy a cup of coffee
Mel! EXCITING!!!!!!! 1 week and counting It has been amazing to watch you grow & blossom into a beautiful person and amazing partner for your soon to be. Are you going to head out on honeymoon right away?
Venus - Congratulations!!!!! 15 months. Have you noticed anything different between 14 & 15?
Per my mom, I have 45 days until I graduate school. Per my sobriety count, I have 30ish days until I hit 500 days. So lots of milestones (& change) coming up.
Post graduation I am going to continue working over the summer with friends on the continuation of a school project, which will enable me the time to transition and figure out next steps.
I feel like I'm in second high 'growth' phase of recovery, this time it's emotional sobriety - and I find it exciting to feel like I am growing my capacity there

Hi liss - good to see you!
4 more weeks and I graduate from college. feeling uncertain, excited - all the above.
I got sober 8 months ahead of school so that I could do my best in school and not be dealing with PAWS - thank goodness that I have well over a year as I go through this transition. It is so much better to know myself and have a solid foundation as I make life choices.

That's awesome news Serene!!! And you just got to 16 months sober the other day.
So proud of you. You have done so wonderfully well over this past year plus. It really pays to get sober younger when we can. Less years of damage, and way more amazing years in front of you. With your college degree, and your new love.
Can't wait to hear from Mel ~ guess she is on her honeymoon still? Nice.
And I hope today is the day when your life gets a little easier liss.

Hi all, no honeymoon yet. Leaving on the 30th of June for that. The wedding was fabulous, a beautiful day with friends and family, loved all of it and couldn't have asked for more. Was a little hard being the sober one but I made it through in one piece.
And thank god I didn't drink because I have even BIGGER news. I'm having a baby!!!! I'm 4 weeks along and in complete shock. All of my dreams have been coming true since I put the bottle down and I couldn't be happier. I owe all my thanks to my loving friends here because without your support my life would be completely different. Love you all xoxo, M
