Morning everyone!

Congrats Mel! Good work. We're proud of you too.

Burning the candle at both ends again. I'm now used to the pace of school.

I went on the first date in 2 years with the lovely boy. It was good practice.

hugs!

Great news - Today I am 300 days.

Spent a great night kicking off a new relationship with someone I'm excited about - it's been a long time since I've been interested in someone.

Funny, though - unrelated I also had my first 'in public not drinking' awkward moment. I was at a team dinner tonight and the team ordered a bottle of wine. The waiter poured me a glass and I didn't catch it until after he put it in front of me. First time I've had that happen and it made me slightly uncomfortable at first due to it being unexpected and I was out with work folks whom I couldn't just pass the glass off to. I quickly forgot about it, and that was that.

Hope you're all having a great week!

Sounds like everything is on the up and up serene. Is this the same guy you went out with last week? Congrats on getting through dinner and forgetting about the glass.

V, haven't heard from you in a few days- how's the job search coming along?

Nothing really from me. Still resting. I've had a cold for about a week now that I can't seem to shake but I think it was meant to be. It's forced me to slow down right around this 9 month mark which has been surprisingly tough for me. Dunno why but I feel the need to relax so that's what I'm doing.

Xoxo, M.

Liss, hey, what's been making you feel so low lately? I'm worried about you girl. The beautiful thing about our emotions is that they are a built in detection center for what we should be doing in our lives. What needs to change so that you feel happier?

I'm not in a good place right now....but guess what liss?
It is not going to kill us...it is a bump. A hurdle.
A chance for us to be strong in the broken places.

Whether or not we need to and choose to see a doctor, this too shall pass. It really will. ♥

Love V xx

Here for you both if you need to talk. Take care of yourselves just as if you were sick. Fuzzy pjs, funny old movies, and lots of hydration and rest.

Thanks guys ~ I awoke today with a brighter outlook.
A small amount of bounce returning.

Anyway, sorry Dee, my post last night sounded really aggressive. Hmmm.
Didn't mean that. I think getting medical help is always a good idea.
Especially when someone (me) has suffered with depression previously.

I think I was trying to encourage liss to believe that we can get through whatever happens. We need to get whatever help it takes. For sure.

We all just want you to feel better liss.

I am having the PJ/movies day that Mel suggested; and then tomorrow I need to get going and look for a job.

I'm pretty sure I had a breakdown.
A scary horrible week, that much I do know.
But some kind of fog seems to be lifting this morning ~ I am hopeful.

Love to everyone,

Venus xx

I'm not a big fan of medicating emotional problems because it does leave people feeling flat. Maybe you could talk to your doctor about other options. Do you exercise? Even if it feels like the last thig you want to do sometimes a good run can change everything.

Morning all. ♥

Have to agree with Mel re the exercise; I don't run, but I believe a walk can have the same positive effects. Good for our brain chemistry as well as our spirits.

liss ~ the fight went out of me too. Flat would be an understatement.
I broke down really badly last week; I was scared. But I didn't let myself give up.

Where is your sponsor in all of this hun? Is he/she available for you to talk to?
You need the support right now; just please keep believing liss.

Much love,

V xx
