DG 3 days is a start,
And if you look deep in your heart,
You'll see reasons to quit,
Not just now or for a bit,
But for ever you and booze will part
I use every tool in my kit
Frequently tell that AV " you're the pits"
My armour, I am sure
Will maintain my cure
Not forgetting my rhyming and wit!

The longer we go without drink
The clearer our minds are to think
We suddenly feel,
Which can be hard to deal
But at least our lives no longer sink
To the pits we wallowed so long,
The pull of addiction so strong
But we will survive
Queen bees in our hive
Sobriety can never be wrong

My AV hasn't taunted
I went for a long run
It was more than a little fun
This was what I wanted
It's nice to say my fun
Came from a long run
Instead of vodka & ice
The sunset was nice
