IP...... sorry for your loss.

Frances.......again, well done love! Hugs winging their way to you. :-)

I just gave in and got takeaways which included a coke zero, which I normally never drink anymore ( I'm a sparkling watr kinda girl) and I just had a strong and intense feeling that I was drinking jack & coke. Whoah..........that was really weird!!! Yuck.

Tomorrow is D day...... back to a full day of work followed by first day at uni. YIKES!!!!!!! Having all zortz of anxious thoughts about my decision go go back to uni, the biggest being that I will be seeing a little less of my Weeman. He cried tonight when we were discussing the changes before dropping him back to his Dads. Feelings of guilt surface, and of loss.......but I just have to remember why I'm doing it........for a better life for Weeman and I.

I was also supposed to be trying archery today.......but for the first time this year it blimmin well rained!!! Will have to wait for my chance to play maid marion! Hahaha

Have a fab week everyone :-)

Have fun at uni Manz. Enjoy it. You are giving Weeman a smarter, more accomplished mom to look up to.
Thank you everyone for your kindness.

You sure it's porn, Mirage, and not just a new HBO series?

I like that avatar a lot, FBL. As a kid watching old westerns, Hoss Cartwright was hands-down my favorite cowboy. It wasn't so much a performance I think as just Dan Blocker's actual warmth coming through.

By now Manz must be kicking serious university butt.... Your Weeman is not going to remember anything about schedule adjustments; he's just going to know his mother believes in herself.

A busy Monday. Need to work on defining what it is that I want.

I have decided to fix up an old bike I have. I attended a bike mechanic intro course. I have learnt that of if you neglect your stuff it will fall apart. I have also learnt that there is Zen to be had in what ever we chose to do.

Evening Overs,

Congrats Manz on all your new accomplishments its awesome to see recovery working in others. That is where others get their ES&H from seeing others making it.

Hope everyone else follows their dreams this week to I know that is one of my goals. Have a great week all.

Thanks everyone.....today was not too hard at all and was lovely to meet all my new classmates. Felt a lot of love in the room, I think its gonna be a great year.

Bit disappointed to find out that my work will not allow me to use my company vehicle to drive to uni after work, so boiled down it means i can no longer have the use of company vehicle to get to and form work either.....which has brought an unexpected additional cost perweek for fuel of $70. Shyte!!! at the moment this is a huge amount for my budget to stretch..........GAH! Ah well, just another road bump to "manage", somehow.

Pretty tired after a 13 hour day.....need to catch some zzzzzzz's.

So happy for you Manz! You just keep lighting the way, I'm right behind you cheering you on and coming along.

IP, more sympathies. I have a recent death in my family, and it knocks me daily how crazy it is that the person is GONE. (But still in our hearts.)

Busy happy here, just wanted you all to know that I'm doing well and permanently sober. If I happen to miss a couple of days, know I'm well. Mirage will come round me up if I go too long. (Hope you don't mind being my minder, Mirage!)

XOXO

Whoa..I can't ignore this irony. Have you ever read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?? Don't know if you're interested in philosophy, but if you are, you might want to check it out.

Lol, I'll be your minder anytime, frances!

I think I read that back the day. That was also the era where I used to stare at the laundry floor with my friend I dropped trips with and swear the answer to the universe was in the patterns we discerned in the tiles and cracks on the floor.

now it's more about awareness and acceptance. Thank God I made it out.
