Class Of January 2012 Part 8
Hello "LONESTAR" (with my best Dark Helmet voice lol)
Welcome to SR and the group . Unfortunately I'm not able to be in the forums much, but you will see me around from time to time. Congrats on almost 9 months! . I hope you have found a program of recovery as well. I had a friend that was white knuckling it for 6 years, discovered AA and is MUCH happier
Welcome!

Hi All!
Welcome Lonestar!
Busy couple of days. I have some wonderful news. My hubby was slated to have invasive surgery for chronic pain for which nothing else brought relief. Thursday he was in excruciating pain and, not knowing what else to do, I prayed. And I prayed, and prayed some more. Well, we agreed that if the pain didn't subside he'd go in to the hospital on Friday (his birthday, btw). Friday morning he woke up pain free. Not even a twinge. He has not had any pain since Thursday night, and the doctor told him today he did not need surgery. Well, you might not believe in such things, but to me this was a miracle and I am very grateful to God!
Good luck with the tooth Nel. I had a wisdom tooth and the one in front of it pulled last year. If you can get IV sedation, go for it. I felt nothing, just sore afterwards.
Feel better Kat!
Awesome DD on the 244, I like the sound of that number
NBC, how sweet that your grandson sung to you! These moments are precious, and so much better sober!

lol. My niece texted me (well she had her daddy text me) a video of her learning to ride without training wheels yesterday. It is truly a joy to watch the simple pleasures of childhood.
