Class of May 2012 part 10
But seriously -- remember to be gentle with yourself. You wouldn't be the first person to tear up in consultation with a surgeon.
We'll be thinking of you. Stay close to your fellow boaters now, y'hear?
[QUOTE] Awesome post, FP. It made me smile when I read it.
With all of you, it provides a safe place for me to practice and test out many emotions that I've either stuffed away for decades or maybe never experienced at all. Here, even if I screw up, I'm still welcomed back. That's an indescribable feeling of security... and that is new to me.
Thank you for your kind words, poem mate. I'd be infinitely happier to do my bawling after the consultation while safely hidden away in my shack by the shore.
Okay, gotta finally go to bed now.
To the tune of TAPS.....
Day is done
Cousin Jack
In the yard, cooking steaks on a grill that I'll never get back....
Remember "Saturday Morning Confusion"?
If not, YouTube it.
Dee, Deserto, Lee - - you guys remember this one, I'm sure.
To all the youngsters out there, this was a Top 10 Hit.

FP, i hope your callback with results and the consultation with the surgeon go well, giving you some of the answers you need. Waterworks are a natural thing and everyone in the medical profession is there to help and will fully understand and empathize. If they flow it will be because you need the release.
Dee, I'm thinking about you and hoping that infection gets better soon.
Saskia, so glad you are with us! You always are so much fun.
Lee, glad your back with us.
Jeni, Thanks for your words earlier. I wish I could go to AA just for the social support, but I can't. This was a hidden problem and Must stay that way. There is just too much room for my world to crash down if word got out at work... That is why I appreciate you all and this may thread so much. You all are my support system. Thank you.
Thursday, I need a funny link to something!

FP - get your [bleep] in bed! It's late over there on the East Coast! And you have work tomorrow!
You better not let me catch you having crumpets with Emily, Jeni and SJD three hours from now!

I wish we all lived closer! This time zone thing is ridiculous, I'm just waking up as everybody is logging off!
HRB, I understand. It is difficult. I share more with you all than ive ever done with anyone in my real life!

Yes Jeni, someday we will meet up I'm sure. And I like the time zone thing because we can usually catch somebody on here. That is a good thing when you work night shift. Big hug to ya! You are never alone here.
Yeah I guess. I've got images in my mind of what you all look like, I wonder how accurate they are. Unfortunately, my picture of Deserto involves him wearing very little which is rather disturbing and I completely blame him for that!!
You are all so very important to me, and I feel very lucky to have found you xx
