The summer heat has given me a summer cold but other than that all is well.

Beth - hope you and your DD don't catch the summer cold that seems to be going around SB. Lots of mothers in my department are working from home because of a sick child. Or at least, LOL! - that's why they are saying they need to work from home.

Hey Lyddie! I hope we don't get either. I was just talking to a 'new, sort of friend mom' and she was saying that her father in law who is visiting from NJ has Pneumonia! Scary stuff! DD and I both got sick with a bad cold in MAY in Atl. I actually had to get antibiotics when I came back to LA. Hopefully that will make us immune, probably not though...

I hope you feel better soon. At least you're getting it out the way Before your trip

HFA - I saved up the time. We accrue so many hours per pay period depending on how years of service. It's been a challenge not taking a 3 or 4 day weekend and working holidays when I could. It's very unusual for someone to take a whole month off.

We went to the zoo yesterday and had a great time. I think we are just going to stay around the house today. I really need to catch up on some cleaning.
