My whine was although I had a blast at the zoo my heart went ping pang for the lions and elephants because IMO they need much more room to roam

Thanks Watch, it faded a bit so I cut the ball in half and went late. Sorry to hear you've been having them too, they sucketh!
It's 2 lbs of cheddar cheese shredded up, a handful of chives and parsley, cheese cream and sour cream all mashed up together then rolled in finely chopped almonds and refrigerated for 24 hours. Served up with a variety of crackers, it's a crowd pleaser! I still came home with half of the half I took, so I guess I can whine about having too much cheese and crackers now too?
Luxury problems! (Oh yea, it's rolled into a ball too! haha...forgot that part)

Jack woke me up at 6am to go out. So I just stayed up and am having my first cuppa. We got at least six inches of the devil's dandruff yesterday. At least it's not snowing now. And my wonderful neighbor plowed our driveway.
I have nothing (but the snow) to whine about this morning cause I'm inside, warm and dry and happy to be alive.

Speaking of the Devil's Dandruff????? where is Hbeee???? she has been MIA for a few days???? we worry about our own whiners!
thank you all, i am feeling better but my chest is so sore from the constant heavy heaving on /sunday....i did eat about 3 ounces of steak (i had to cook it i defrosted it on Saturday) some mashed potatoes and asperagus.
i am eating some fresh fruit this morning and will try for oatmeal later...able to take my vitamins today.
had wierd dreams about Jack LaLanne???? so i got up at 2AM and ate a cookie.
got up at 5AM took Sammy for a good long walk..but it is 11 degrees with the wind chill!!
where is spring? it ain't around any corners in NJ!

Hey Whiners, we went on a great boat trip with our company and came across this tortoise on one of the barrier islands. I immediately thought of maybe using him for a Whiners Mascot? Aww, come on pleeeeeze, just look at that whiny face, you KNOW Queeny needs a pet!!

Welcome to whiners mtnmagic. I can't believe you've never been here before. And yes, as Queen Ann says: whiners are winners.
Well, I got ambitious and shoveled a place for the dogs to potty without getting buried up to their tummies in the snow. Nikko, of course, can't tell and goes in the deep snow anyway. He gets literally snow-blinded with his poor vision and has a hard time getting back into the house cause everything is white and he can't find the steps to the porch. I have to call him to give him a reference point.
Every time I take them out I'll shovel a bit more open space for them. So glad I'm sober and able to do things like this to make it easier for them. They're small dogs too and hate plowing knee deep into the snow just to 'stoop and poop'.

Suki, I want to thank you again for that vinegar/water deicer tip. It not only works to prevent ice from forming but works to get rid of it. I just brushed the snow off my car and sprayed the vinegar mix and am letting the sun do the rest of the work... and it's melting, it's melting... By the time I'm done with my tea it should be clean enough to go out. Thanks again!

Welcome mtnmagic! WA really helps us to de-stress. Sometimes we even learn stuff, in spite of ourselves.
Dogs had a potty call at 4am. Pitch black, snowing, and windy when I let them out. Miss Mastiff decided she'd play her game of coming back to be let in, coming halfway in, then running away again. Did it to me 4 times before coming in with her wet football & drying herself off on my nightgown.
Ann - tortoise does have a whiny face. I think he's worthy of being our mascot.
I've put out an APB for HBeeee a few times, but nothing so far. Miss you! Please come back with your world class whines, Hunny.
