There's a mouse in the house

This mouse is so intelligent - he actually sits and watches me wondering what my next move will be LOL

I got a mousetrap and put vegemite on it - a friend tells me this will work. Update later............

OMG I spent an entire week at my sister's house working on taxes. 6 different ones...finally finished and printed and left...(Mr LTT was beginning to think I left him) and she called me on the way home (answered the phone..."I'm NOT COMING BACK!") to talk about a mistake! She continued to noodle on it for 10 hours yesterday and today I had to look at it again! Yes...I made a slight mistake in the governments favor. Oh well....why am I the only one here who is doing my own (and 6 others! Make that 10 others if I add my 2 kids) taxes????

thanks for the shrimp recipes..I think I could almost do them....someday...

I hope all the people who are sick are feeling better.....vacation...!

Oh .... for catching mice (in my case it was hamsters) you put a big glass container with some food it it so the mouse can fall in and can't get out. Then you can take outside.

I will not whine starting Saturday....

Pattenat - I couldn't resist looking at the video. You're adorable, and the outtakes are hysterical. "I'm the s**t" is my personal favorite.

I will now laugh myself to sleep...too funny!

Thanks...I needed that after being out in the frozen tundra today.

Is it possible to trap a groundhog with peanut butter?

Spring my arse. Liar.

Punxsutawney Phil emerged just after dawn on Groundhog Day to make his 125th annual weather forecast in front of a smaller-than-usual crowd who braved muddy, icy conditions to hear his handlers reveal that he had not seen his shadow.
I must have missed this one...I thought that they said another 6 weeks of winter...oh well...they said he has only "not" seen his shadow 16 times!

Happy March

Not sure if this is a whine or a gasp of desperation but - I'm scared snotless for tomorrow. I go to court to face to wreckage of my last relapse. I was celebrating
my birthday by what else, having a couple (yea right) glasses of wine at the bar where I work. I blacked out and kept on going....Bartender (friend) and her hubby dutifully put me in a cab where I apparently blacked out and attacked the cab driver. I came to on my birthday in jail. Maybe someday, (please god) I will be able to laugh about my last relapse in sobriety.

Tomorrow is the arraignment hearing (Drunk and Disorderly). I want to go in and just plead guilty get whatever sentence I'm supposed to get and even offer to handcuff myself and go directly to jail if that is what it takes. I just want this over with.

In the meantime - I am appreciating all you whiners because it sure takes the focus off me and my miserable self! Humor goes a long way and I'm trying to find it now.

Honest to goodness Dee - It prolly isn't going to be as bad as what I have already put myself through. I guess you can say I'm a little obsessed?

Sigh - I can't sleep anyway, at least tonight I'll have a good reason for it, eh?

Ok, Manz Im trying the peanut butter tonight. I was on all fours peering around the doorway watching this mouse. (not a pretty picture)!
(I had put the vegemite on a small piece of cheese - so, the mouse was coming back and fourth slowly pulling the cheese out from the trap) Im thinking, hes gone, hes out of here...
Nope, he took the cheese, I got up and chased him. Cheese left on the ground and hes gone into the family room.
He had better like peanut butter or else. tonights the night!
