I even wore my wedding rings that I had resized to fit me again (been waiting for Mr. LTT to do it but....) . I haven't worn them in over 5 years! You would think that someone would notice you when you have painted red nails and flashy jewelry...

Ananda, they don't know what they are missing!!!
my mother used to tell me that i was "like a crow"....attracted to shiney flashy objects..yep, like tennis bracelets, gold bangles, diamonds....sapphires and emeralds...(none of which i am wearing and have few of)
however..my manicure is very sedate this week..just a gel french.
I only had the dog kiss me on valentine's day...sigh! Ben Affleck must have been busy.

Not a "loser" but an independent self-sufficient wonderful person who can make me laugh every time with her "Love Sucks"
I agree with Ann Nands - I really dislike the way Valentines makes those without a partner feel left out....falling in love is a natural thing, not a competition...when we met the right one at the right time...it just happens and all falls into place
anybody who's with someone and still waiting for things to fall into place don't blame me

Ok, here's my whine for the day. Or really, more of a whinette, or whimper:
Does anyone else feel vaguely sad when Dee changes his avatar? I associated him with Elmo when I first signed up, then it went to Oscar the grouch, and now...some unknown muppet. Sigh. I have such a low tolerance for change!
I think this tells me i need to get off the computer and back out into the real world

Was Grover the one in the boat? Coupled with your location as "South Seas" it conjured up quite an image.
In the beginning it bothered me when people changed their avatar. I realize now that some people change all the time and others keep it the same all the time. To each their own...myself...I just love all the different graphics. I've got a entire collection of luggage for LovesToTravel.....Mr LTT picked up my netbook for me....a new toy to play with!!!(oops not a whine..)
I love changing my avatars often, sort of with my location or mood, sometimes just for fun. I have been here 9 years next month and my avatar has "lightened up" over the years...that is a good thing.
I love Dee's Floyd, it's so "him".

Woke up too early again but I've got my coffee and little Jack is lying at my feet, loving me. And if I really want his devotion I just give him a good tummy rub. He (and the other two) give me such joy and love my heart overflows with love just to look at them. Right now they're my only reason to smile so I give a lot of tummy rubs just to see a doggy smile from them.
A good friend told me that his wife has a magnet on the fridge that says: If I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet, I'll put shoes on my cat! Love it!

I am quite fond of Grover...he is good friends with the Cookie Monster if i remember correctly...it's been a while since i watched Sesame street.
The Weather Channel is playing old music this AM....I've heard Cream "come down off your throne and leave your body alone"....lalalala....Moonlight Mile from the Rolling Stones" i am just livin' to be dyin' by your side"...i wonder if Al Roker has addiction problems?
my congestion seems to be dissapating, i did not take the musinex last night, it makes my stomach upset.
