Tagging this thread to say wassup, we are about to bring Sunday night to a close which is either the end of the week for some (like me) or perhaps the end of the first day of the week, regardless I hope we are all still sober and enjoying life!
I for one had a great weekend, my cold came back a bit today - actually I was quite miserable (just physically) earlier and amazingly enough I called a friend in the fellowship as they wanted some interviewing advice and after the call ended I felt so much better...funny how that happens. Mainly it was a horrible sinus headache so my western mind didn't even think that helping somebody else would have any affect on a bodily ailment and perhaps it was just coincidence but I don't want to act like it didn't happen either!

Akasha...can't do the Dew & Reese's till this evening...got a ton to do today...
On the how many days thing....my next big day is 112...i drank after 111 days sober this past Sept...i also drank on year 12, after 11 years sober seven years ago...Sooo, all 1's has not been my best of times.
Swan...enjoyed your story about feeling better after helping your friend...cool stuff...stay on the mend

Glad you had the foresight to make copies of your medical paperwork Akasha, smart thinking!
Things are good over here, working from home myself today (was out sick yesterday) as I'm on the last leg of this flu/cold I've been fighting.
Will try to post up some more later, sorry forget to write more yesterday. Stay warm Carlos!

Hey all, I'm heading into the office today again (lol, it's only been 3 days off sick but with the weekend in the middle it feels like forever).
Hope everyone is doing great, yea the 'crud' seems to be making rounds, meh. I'll have to comb the newcomers threads myself - not a bad idea! Lately anytime I see alcohol being romanced in movies or tv shows etc. I've been thinking of a past experience or two I had while drinking, I usually don't need to think of more than one, but typically two at the most and I play that to the end and I'm not happy with where the whole thing ends up...

Hi all,
I woke up this morning in a good mood but I know that just underneath the surface is a volcano about to erupt.
This week I've had so much family drama that I'm surprised that I didn't seek out comfort in the bottom ice cream carton.
My head is going to explode I'm sure of it. Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how to deal with everything on my own.
It's probably a good idea for me to head over to the Newcomers threads too. Think I need to re-visit the past so I can get a better perspective of my future. Where's "the force" when I need it???

Sorry to hear about your family drama Chloe. Not so long ago I would head strait for the bottle for the answer...wake up the next morning feeling like crap, having accomplished nothing. Since getting sober tomorrow always seems brighter.
