I'm back once again. Very grateful to be alive and sober. It is day 6 for me.
I went to a treatment center to detox and got back Sunday. Today it was back to AA, and I'm so very glad that I did.

My sober weekend....
Saturday: AA at noon...lunch out with program friends
Having a neighbor over for snacks and Scrabble
Checking in at SR often....
Sunday: AA at 11 a.m. Connecting to SR
A family get together....celebrating my youngest grandson's 30th.
Sean is on orders ..back to Afghanistan for another tour.
He is bringing up his 10 year old from Fl.
during this short leave before deploying.
So...4 generations of us will have a brief time together again.
A bittersweet time for all of us...
Asking those who pray to add our service men and women
and their loved ones to your prayer list.

Turned out to be a fun celebration
Just the 4 of us so we dined out
Sean and young Sean will be here all week.
Tomorrow is "help G-ma with Spring cleaning day"
Declared so by me...agreed to by them.

2 and a half days with out a drink. The door is ringing as I type this. Oh well. Still haven't been out of bed because I'm supposed to work the next 12 hours. To be honest I hate life right now.

Withdrawls suck, how do you deal with a searing headache and a person screaming at you?? It hasn't worked out for me yet.

can you go for a walk or take a shower
or go to bed to get away from noise?
Do aspirin help with your headache?
I know they did for me during my de tox from alcohol.

I took ibuprofen.. didn't do anything. So, I guess I'll have to try aspirin when I can get some..
As for people totally crossing the line between constructivness and hatefulness by screaming at me, I couldn't really leave... because well, they would just follow me. But now, I'm going to bed... and with any luck tomorrow will be better -_-
