I am up pretty early. Considering I didnt sleep well.
Still not smoking.
Took the dog for a good walk.
Am goin to go apply at 3 more places today.
Staying calm in my search for employment.
Its goin to be one craptastic day outside.
But I dont have to be out in it too long.

One of my favorite favorite movies (Mirage, 1965, starring Gregory Peck) is finally on DVD and the copy I ordered came in today's mail!!!

What's good tonight is that daughter (dk) asked me to rent a certain movie for her from the library... but they didn't have it. However, when I went to a drug store for something else, they DID have it, so she gets to watch her movie. SHe's happy and grateful - actually said thank you!

Another good thing is that when we were at the store earlier she was arguing loudly and belligerantly about something... and I refused to 'engage' her so the argument just stopped when I wasn't providing an audience! I'm learning...

I had a pretty chill day.
Went grocery shopping and it wasnt as stressful and aggravating as it usually is.
Ate dinner at my aunts. Cheeseburgers on the grill. My fav.
Took a couple walks with the dog today. Even tho it is frezzing outside and flurries.
Geez..What happened to that 70 degree weather we had last weekend?

I'm having a lazy day. Off tonight, eating pizza and have had 3 cats on the bed most of the day. Had to fight Elvis for the pizza. That darn cat will eat anything. On my 4th day of not smoking and haven't wanted to kill anyone yet, so that's a good thing

Actually had a meaningful conversation with dk tonight. Mostly it was her explaining to her old mom (me) what a Wii is, and a Wii Fit... I'm starting to understand it, and better than that, am having a good time with her being here. Just feeling good about spending time with her. I like it when she can explain things to me, itmakes her feel smart, which makes me feel good.

Please keep my little dk in your prayers that she can "find herself" and be happy with herself.

I went to court and got a ticket reduced from $550 to $100 and it wont be reported to the insurance company as long as I dont get another ticket within the next year!

Plus, it was sunny and warm today.

Thanks Warren! What's good today is that I'm taking my two daughters to dinner tonight. That will be fun, enjoying a good dinner with two of my girls. Woke up again with four dogs on the bed! Crowded but very warm and secure. And it's sunny today and supposed to be a bit warmer and NO snow!

Congrats on your sober time Warren! I've got 50-some days now since my slip a while ago. Feeling stronger and more resolved in my sobriety.

I spent several hours in my car today, which I'd normally be smoking quite a few cigarettes. Today, I had none Just a couple more hours, and I will have completed 5 days, smoke free, and what's even better, is ((Trish)) and I are doing it at the same time!!

Weather is supposed to be getting nicer, pollen count is down a little from over 3500, and no rain for at least a few days.

Well..I am so sore again today.
but I didnt have to train another day. I pretty know what to do. So 2nd day and I was on my own.
I like it like that.
No work tomorrow. My cousins wife's gram is making pizza gane. My fav in the whole wide world. I cant wait.

Well..Its Easter. And I am goin gto my aunts house for family time.
Lots of food. Lots of family. Lots of fun.
My cousins wifes gram is making pizza gane and thats my absolute fav thing in the world.
OMG..It is so good.
That was her present to me for my bday and it rocked!
A little more than a month ago I was banished from my aunts house. Noone was talking to me and I thought this was it. They finally had enough. But I do have a wonderful family that is very forgiving.
SO today will be very special. I have yet another chance to make things right. Nut I am almost positive this is my last.

Well..I go for my surgery eval the 29th.
Got a good days work in today. I hurt like hell. But it is worth it.
I am still smoke free. And heres to another good day.
And I am going to heat me up some homemade Shredded BBQ chicken. Sweet baby rays..Here I come.

I was just thinking that I haven't posted on this thread for a long time.
Today it is good that yesterday my eldest son said he was proud of me for not drinking at last nights dinner get together even though everyone else was partaking. I can't remember him ever saying he was proud of me since he was a pre-teen.
