I am 30 days obvious sweets sober today. OS are candy, cookies, sugar in coffee, etc. What is good is that I will be treating myself for doing this and tomorrow is treat day.

what's good today is getting my dogs groomed for no charge at the local vocational high school. On Fridays the juniors do it and there is no charge cause they need the experience. I know one of the juniors, a friend of my youngest. She's a lovely young lady and will do a good job with my dogs, I have no doubt. My beagirl probably remembers her from times she's spent at my house.

So I'll be picking up two clean and sweet and neatly trimmed dogs to bring home for a nice walk.

Tired of sitting in my own personal hell. Time to snap out of it and get movin.
Today will be pamper me day. Lord knows I need a deep cleaning.
So gonna wash and scrub all this negativity away and primp and groom and all that girly stuff.
Actually its just called good hygeine. I been down bad. *shakes head*
Hopefully will be back to my old self here soon.

And as always SR..And my baby cousins who spent the night tonight.

What's good today has been good since Thursday afternoon when a much awaited pkg arrived at my house. I've been saving money for the last 8 months to be able to buy this: the Star Trek tng complete series on DVD. I've been wanting it forever and now it's mine!

Might sound silly but I'm a serious Trekker and having this for my own has put me over the moon! I can now have a Star Trek marathon any time I want, without the scratched up DVDs I used to rent from the library. I'm in ST heaven!

I finally felt like a living human being today.
Hung out with the lil cousins. They drove me carzy..But it was great.
Got myself all spiffy and sparkly.
Didnt get frustrated or short tempered at all today.
It was a good day.

Finally got dressed for the first time in about a week.
Put like 7 apps in. Atrtempted my call to apologize to my old boss for just dippin out without any reason or explaination.
Called IOP once again and am oushing for them to get on top of getting me started.
Just ate a great chicken bleu cheese sandwich.
Today has been good so far.

Today I did a couple productive things.
Finally called the old boss and just left a message. If she wants to call me back she will. If not. At least I made the effort. Now I can stop obsessing.
Other than that. Today is sorta blah.

Today, is my one day/night off. I'm being lazy, got Elvis the cat, laying on my hip, while I'm laying in bed with the laptop, chillin' on SR.

Two girls at work have been trying to make my life miserable and I didn't let them..go me! I get my car back from the shop tomorrow. I've enjoyed the rental, but I want MY car back. It has a lot of miles, isn't brand new, and is a little dirty, but I like it.

Today isn't great, and it isn't bad...it just is, and that's okay. ((Trish)) is here, and that makes me happy

I am working on my tolerance as this is probably the biggest hinderance to my enjoying a sober life.
Today it is good that I am getting a little better at it. I read the paper this morning without getting too annoyed and it didn't bother me too much last night that some speech pre-empted one of my 8PM television shows. Hey it is a start.

The NCAA playoffs have been messin with my shows..GRRR. Siena is out. I am not interested anymore. LOL

I woke up feeling good and happy. Let go some things that were making my mnd a slave.
Still early to say what else may be good today.

Was raining when I woke up and supposed to rain all day. But despite the rain I am healthy, my dogs are healthy and happy, and we live in a nice warm house... tho it will be a really good day if my ceiling doesn't leak from the rain!

Toay turned out to be a good day. I was sick all day yesterday from stressing out. I was getting sick and all that. So I feel alot better.
Put 3 more apps in. Grams made homemade spagetti sauce with sausage. Man..That stuff rocked.
This is why I am the only crack addict you will se to gain 100lbs in addiction. I gained most of my weight in the worst of it. When I was out all day everyday for years.
Grams made sure I was fed.

Had to attend another deposition regarding my father's estate thats in probate today...

Came home drained, went to the gym, and then a true blessing took place, I joined this site which is amazing because it was a fluke. I googled "alcohol and effects on the brain" Nooo, don't worry, I'm fine (lol)! The amazing part was that google sent me to a link that brought me here, and I've never been a member of any site other than Match.com many years ago (lol)!

Well today is pretty good. I havent even gotten dressed and its 3pm. Oh well. I am not depressed or moping around. I am just being lazy.
Got my lil cousins here and they are dancing on my bed and laughin and having fun listening to music with me.
