Fitba today, tomorrow I think we're going to the Scottish Horse Trials although the Touring Cars are on not far away so its still under negotiation !!!!!

I'd prefer the touring cars but the rest of the family would like to go to the trials and as I'm going to the football today I suppose ......................

Never been to the Horse trial thingy, don't know if I fancy the dressage bit much but the show jumping and cross country could be fun.

If we win today and the weathers nice tomorrow should be a good weekend.

Get beat today and spend tomorrow eating soggy egg sarnies under an umbrella as wet horses splatter abut in the mud however .....................

Whichever way, its got to be better than sitting in the house slugging vodka.

I went to the Badminton horse trials once and I really enjoyed it

That was a nice sunny day however don't know how much fun it would be in the rain.

Its rained all morning here Ally, so by tomorrow the rain will be all done and the weather lovely !!!!!!

We'll win the fitba 3 - 1 today and get our shorts and sunhats on tomorrow.

Positive thinking.

The touring cars I'd like to go to are live on ITV4 tomorrow Ally, Knockhills only about an hours drive from me.

I didn't like motor racing untill I went a couple of years ago, its great, better than that F1 stuff, they actually crash and overtake and stuff, plus the cars look more like proper cars we could own.

If you get a chance tomorrow, have a quick look, I bet its better than you think.

Anyhows, its gonna be the horses for us I reckon.

Another factor is money, Touring cars are £40 per adult admission, kids free so £80 for us to go.

The Horse Trials cost £10 for a family of 4 for admission.

Its sold to me.

We drew 2 - 2, decent game to watch.

Good day out thanks Ally.

We were there nearly 6 hours before the kids started moaning so they must have quite enjoyed it too.

As expected I wasn't that fussed about the dressage mylarky, the show jumping was ok though and I really liked the cross country.

We had a good bit to sit at to watch the water hazzard bit, some of the wee lassies on huge horses jumping massive log things. That must take some guts !!!!!

You can buy alcohol 24 hours down there can't you ?

Up here you can't buy alcohol from an off licence after 10.00 at night.

If you think that Bolt fella is fast you should have seen me move when I realised it was nearly 10.00 and I needed more vodka !!!!!!!!!

Ah, those were the days !!!!!!!!!!!!

My wee boy starts School on wednesday.

Its things like that and knowing you'll be around for him that makes staying sober worthwhile.
