I'm contemplating ordering a kefir lime tree & a Buddha's hand from an online source. It's the only place I've found that carries them both... with a good reputation. The s & h is as much as the plants though!

Have you quit drinking Paul? I am at a loss at what to say. I am glad you made it back and hope you will quit doing this to yourself.

I am about to leave for my MRI. A little nervous about the IV. I usually have bad luck with those. I am hoping that the 20+ lb weight loss will make it easier for them to find a vein. I will give them 2 tries. Then I'm outta there!

dad in law was a mess after his deal this morning. i think i am really going to have my hands full when mr k gets older, if he takes after his dad...thank god for nursing homes.

i'm hosting a neighborhood get together here on thursday night - we're getting ready for city elections and i have a friend running for mayor and another for assessor. so it's a meet and greet thing - just an hour and half or so, no big deal. i'm trying to let go of the fact that my living room is going to torn out still from mr k's stupid lighting project. hummmph.

i guess i'll bake an especially nice cake to serve. maybe a neighborhood electrician will come.
