Woke up at 3 am out of a sound sleep and now can't get back to sleep... All I want is to sleep for 8 hours... that's not asking too much, is it?

Least..I know your pain...Im sorry..I really hope you get your sleep soon.

My whine....Sometimes it seems that instead of focusing on recovery ..posters and chatters would rather talk about "the good ol days" of using..how they stole...seeming to want to one up eachother...makes me not wanna be here...

Went back to bed, but not to sleep.

Am exhausted but cannot sleep, not even relax. Am sick of this crap. Sick of interrupted sleep, sick of feeling so anxious, sick of running out of money at the beginning of the month. Just sick of it all...

Just took pk to her parenting class... and she'd forgotten her lunch, so went all the way back to her apt to get it and bring it to her!! She'd better be damn grateful!

Sometimes it seems that instead of focusing on recovery
Possibly because they have more "experience" with "how it was and what happened" than "how it is today". Give them time to get it together...they'll come around. They may think by focusing on the past they're keeping their memory green.

ananda...good thing we only have to work at sobriety one day at a time, isn't it? Hope today is better than yesterday.

Hi Love, No matter how hard it is, don't believe that feeling is real, it is just another lie your disease is putting in your mind by wanting to discredit, and minimize what you have done, to distract you from all that you have accomplished, and feeling good about yourself.

so not feeling well at all..................ate too much linguine and alfrado sauce..........ugh dr gave me $100 bucks to put towards staying out of jail......now that is a service dr if I have ever seen one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS In my glory days, ie when I was in my 20's I used to "dress" the drag Queens ( still really close with some) made the **** and hips out of nylons filled with rice............lol was too much fun.......but of course I was drunk and you always had to find entertaining things to do being a bar manager.............LOL aahhhh the days.......gonna go call Terry............lol
