Checking in to class late - busy morning but good - swam at 5:45 so did not get to log in early.

But - what a HOOT it is to read the goings on of the day - this class is OUT OF CONTROL and on a roll. Don't know if I can catch up (teach me to swim instead of log in! )

Hang on - weekend and V-day. Trader Joes has good pizza dough if any of you guys decide to do the pizza thing (I think pizza does boost libido).

Missed you all this AM but good to connect.

Today while baking my husband chocolate cupcakes I realized that real Vanilla is a trigger for me and I have to stay away from it - like way away.. I did not drink any but we have this Bourbon Vanilla which smells as much like bourbon as it does vanilla.Won't buy that again!

Worked a 12hr night shift, gotta get some sleep so I can do it again tonight.

Well I guess a lot of you won't be attending class today. I just came in to plan the lessons for next week.
The cold is getting better by the day so I expect to be back to full sarcasm mode next week.

"Drinkable chocolate"...can't you just buy some hershey's syrup and warm it up?

Never tried the stuff anyway.

Hi, I'm still here and sober/clean just over a month. Had a bit of a down time recently due to relationship break up but am still determind to build this new clean life.

Rather than being drunk out of my head with my ex like last v day I took my lovely son out for a meal, we ate loads and had a great time am now in my cosy bed with my dog and drinking hot chocolate

My new day three is going great. Spent the day with my little girls and treated them to some Valentine's Day treats. That is really what life is all about and I need to keep remembering that. Alcohol does absolutely NOTHING good. Fell good and happy I wont have a hangover tomorrow.

Hi all, I'm new here - thanks to fubar for the invite. I finally found the thread...obviously. Today is day 33 SOBER...yeah! Things are getting better - I love not being hungover on a Saturday morning. The zoloft does wonders too - love it.
The toughest part of sobriety is relearning how to do everything without the drink. This has been the best weekend by far though. That might have something to do with the beautiful flowers my honey sent me and an afternoon laying in the sunshine..I love s. florida. I kinda look like my avatar now though. Oh well...

C23 - it is so good to hear that you are on day 3 and doing great - YES! Great to have you here too.

Half way through V-day - got a great bath pillow from my sweetie - I love baths and now have the luxury of a cushy pillow.. lucky me!

Being away from SR all day today and much of yesterday feels a little disorienting.. I ground with this place and get a little antsy when I am away for > 12 hrs! Love the early morning check-ins the best.. probably will do that on Monday.

Having fajitas for dinner then going to a play (ain't that something!).. When I was drinking I was so hesitant to do something like go to a play at night - I was used to being quite wined up and settled in by the time most plays start.. This feels good.

Big to all of you - that is for real!

Good morning class. It looks like a lot of you are enjoying the weekend and not coming to class which is OK. I have to clean the place today as we are having my son and his inlaws for dinner. There will be some drinking but I will fake the inlaws out by having straight coke. ( the drinking kind)
