I actually fell for a similar scam with Bank Of America. I had ignored it, several times, but for some reason, that one day, it seemed legit. I found out that Bank of America has an online fraud reporting system that you can send them a copy of the e-mail, so I would check and see if Capital One has something similar.

I'm glad you didn't fall for it. I had to close out my account, open another one, change all my bills that were automatically paid, get new ATM and credit card...it was a mess and I felt like a big dummy.

If Capital One doesn't have a fraud reporting thing, just google "online fraud scams" and see if you can find someone to alert..I'm sure there are places.

Thank's for the suggestion, Amy. I went ahead & forwarded the email to them. I just thought it was so bizarre that it somehow was linked to a UK Brownie troop.

While I have your attention I have a new whine. My husband has a job offer in Massachusetts. It would mean leaving the beach for the mountains, the warmth for the cold. I don't know if I'm up for that kind of an adjustment right now.

Hevyn, I don't know....a friend of mine, from here, lives in Cape Cod, and I've seen pictures...it's GORGEOUS!!! Nothing like having the ocean in your back yard!

Plow Guy's replacement came by today and told us Plow Guy retired (I KNEW we were paying too much!!) and that he would be taking over. He asked if we wanted our drive plowed today....this was 10 minutes after we had finished the job ourselves!!!

I think NEW Plow Guy is gonna take right over where old Plow Guy left off

I have lived in the desert all my life..hot, dusty,..it was 84 today.
