and yesterday I got wrapping paper. I also took a few photos of the Christmas decorations but they didn't take (?) so that's my whine for yesterday!!!!!

cmc, I've got a whine to cover your whinelessness. The friend of my ck who's living with me and on my share plan cell service is getting her service suspended today. Last month I showed her the enormous cell bill, most of which was her doing, and warned her to stop talking and texting ALL DAY LONG but she didn't, and this month's bill was even bigger!!!
She went more than twice her share of our anytime minutes! And went way over her texting allowance too. I am furious that she paid no attention to my warning and that paying enough to keep the cell service will take way too much money out of my small disability check this month after the rent is paid.
THere is no excuse for this. SHe hasn't paid me one damn dime for her portion of the bill since I put her on the plan in August. I only ask her to pay the water bill each month (about fifty bucks) and her $25 charge for her phone. I don't ask her for rent money or any other financial support so she's 'living off me' right now. I can barely support myself, let alone huge cell bills for her, so her service is off as soon as I call Verizon.

I just got back from the verizon office in town. Her service is suspended until she pays me the $400 owed for her minute and texting overage. I told her what I had done and why and she left the room. She's in her room now crying and I'm sorry that it came to this, but it had to be done. I will have NO money left out of my check for this month after paying rent and the cell bill. I offered to take her around town applying for work and I will, but she has no cell phone till she pays up what she owes.
