Hi all

Doing good and feeling fine.
Grateful for rush around mornings. It's been a long time not doing that. I didn't realize I would miss that because of addiction slowed me to a complete stop.

Take good care of yourselves

Fearless, haha i almost consider Kristin Neff a local here too. She’s been a prof at UT Austin for a while I believe. And as for the gaming addiction resource, helpful but way too pricey for me right now. Still, gives me something to strive for.
Alpine, I’m so glad they let you go home after the injection. So at least you can have good light and your quilt.
Turs, Hev, others, so with you on being out of sorts. Feeling so outmatched by my to-dos and wondering when is the time for spiritual growth and connection and meaning. it’s so hard to even just do the basics to keep up.
Free, good luck in interview!

Grateful
- for coffee
- that I remembered to change my a/c air filter finally. Hope I didn’t mess anything up permanently by letting it go too long. It was pretty gross.
- for a clean house
- to remember my brother today. It would have been his 43rd bday.
- for all of you.

Hev, Turs, and like NL said others feeling out of sorts...I definitely understand. I wish I could flip a switch and at least feel partial back into sorts..lol
NL, thanks so much for your PM
Purps, yay for getting away from toxic situations
Grateful yet again for my comfy couch
Grateful hopefully only 3 more injections. I head in today, Friday and Monday
Grateful I am not as nauseous as I have been so was able to eat a meal of sorts

Good morning Grat Pack. I am here in the morning!
Free good luck with the job pursuit. I have a feeling you will prevail and get something just right for you.
Zen glad to hear you are well.
NL enjoy your clean house.
Purps relaxing with coffee in the am is a favorite thing. It has replaced what used to be my favorite thing, opening a bottle of wine at 5 pm. Wish I had realized sooner how wrong that was. But I am here.
Alpine glad you have your comfy couch.
Hev I love watching the chipmunks too.
Zura yay for nature.
Turs I hope your uncomfortable feelings pass soon.
Fearless hope you are well.
Sam you too.

I want to recommend an incredible documentary. If you have Apple TV, You Tube or Google Play. Geographies of Solitude is about a naturalist, Zoe Lucas, who has lived on a small remote island for 40 years. Really fascinating and thought provoking.

Grateful for mother nature. I pray to her every day.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful my cat is in my lap. She is a rescue that has trust issues.
Grateful for a quiet morning.
Grateful I finally have an eye appointment today Hoping to get some new glasses for a new look. I wear progressive lenses most of the time. Contacts for tennis and swimming.
Grateful for all of you.
Happy Hump Day!

Zura, those are for sure all great things to be grateful for. Yes, you got this!
Hev, hoping you feel back in a routine soon. It’s nice to have good neighbors to laugh with.
Free, glad you have some options. And also glad you are sleeping better
Turps, hoping the storm passes soon. Thinking of you.
CBS, big congrats on 34 months! Geographies of Solitude - going on my list. Thank you!
Aly, hoping today is better for you
Alpine, thinking of you
Numblady, that’s cool that KN has lived in both of our locations. Thinking of you as you remember your brother
Hi Zen and everyone else!
Grateful to watch Zoolander last night. Such a funny movie
Grateful to brace myself for changes to my work. Things turned upside down from the Pandemic and never really got back to normal. The world keeps on turning. Glad I feel secure in my position (for now anyway) and their are choices if I decide to leave or retire early
Grateful to turn off the news
Grateful to slowly be getting my energy back and increasing my exercise to normal

CBS isn’t it sweet when an animal can be comfortable around you….BratCat is the same way….he only likes me and my mom; runs and hides from everyone and everything else….I tell him he has more anxiety than I do!

Yes Fearless I agree about turning off the news

Grateful for spooky season and scary movies!

Grateful for my blessings. Going to see mom in a little while. I have my group today but I don't think I am going to go. I'm just so tired. I think all the stress with my mom and sisters is really causing me to be fatigued. Grateful they are taking good care of my mom at the nursing home. It just breaks my heart to see her so frail and in pain. I am having a hard time of it now. Thank you for your support and thinking of me.
Alpine sending you prayers and love.
Purps, Brat Cat must really trust you. Was he a rescue? He sounds like he's a little skittish, it's sweet he loves you and your mom.
Love and peace to all. Have a wonderful day. xxoo

Alpine - Good to hear you are less nauseous. Will be so good when the shots are done & you can build yourself back up.
CBS - I will check out Zoe - sounds like a good idea right about now. Glasses - last time I got my progressives I chose frames that were all wrong for me. Loved them in the store, but they turned out to be too large & the wrong shape, or something. Unflattering to say the least. Can't wait to ditch them & find better ones.
NL - Sharing your sorrow over your brother on his birthday.
Fearless - Zoolander - yes - that's likely to cheer me up. I guess I'm just feeling unsettled. So much going on that I have no control over - need to get a grip.
Aly - I hope things in your world will improve soon. It's a lot to handle for those of us who are caring, kind souls.
Grateful for our special place here on SR.
Grateful to turn off negative thoughts & actually slept last night.
Grateful for MrHev's love of yardwork.
Grateful that sharing our feelings almost always helps make things better.
Love to all who are reading.

Grateful
- for the names of things. Yesterday I watched a video going over collective nouns of animals. My favorite was an unkindness of ravens (and in trying to go double check myself I just learned they are also called a “rave”, “treachery”, or “conspiracy”). I love this. And a paddle of platypus. Or a surfeit of skunk. Oh wait. My other favorite: a business of ferrets.
- for therapy today
- that finally someone came to the door selling something I actually needed—a roof estimate for the hail damage.
- to be meeting a guy for coffee today. He’s my good friend’s cousin. It’s not a dating thing but I do think it’s kind of an excuse to flirt and maybe make a new friend. There’s something to be said for flirt energy.
- for therapy today…kind of. Got to have a difficult conversation.
- for my mom spontaneously sending me a bit of money. Nothing life altering but enough that I feel ok buying myself a new pair of bike shorts as the others are kind of degrading
- for coffee
- for each of you and your posts. They brighten my spirits. Love to come here with my first cup of coffee for the day.

Turs, next time you go paddling..can you take one stroke for me. Sorry to be selfish.. I have missed being out on the water
Purps, hope your feet have recovered
Zen, Hope this day finds you well
Grateful I got some "normal" sleep" last night
Grateful I have a bit more energy
Grateful I tend to be driven person..I said to a Dr once that I am stubborn..he said "No, you are driven..that is how you have been handling all of this so well."
Grateful for all of you

Purps and CBS, my cat Daisy is the same. She’s been with us for 7 years. People joke that we are lying that we have another cat. She always finds a good hiding place. But she’s super loving and funny and adorable when it’s just us.
Alpine, glad you got some sleep. You too, Hev
Happy flirting, Numblady!
Turps, glad you enjoyed the paddling
Grateful sonny boy kept his cool when he thought he lost his AirPods and case This went on for several hours looking and he finally accepted they were gone was fairly calm about all this. He’s matured. Then they turned up between the couch cushions 😊
Grateful to play darts
Grateful I’m feeling good today!
Grateful to have a coaching session this morning
Grateful to work on holiday card
Grateful to clear some things out of the garage
