Zura, darn that wind! I admire you for making the best of it.
CBS, that is a good description for how I was feeling last week! Something off. Like a cold but then it didn’t become a cold.
Alpine, so glad you are home — and hoping you start to feel better very soon.
Hi everybody else!

Grateful
- to help give a wedding shower last night for a friend and it went really well. The husband does not have a super long time to live. I think it meant a lot to them to be honored (even though they deserve absolutely nothing less).
- we get a few cooler days before the heat comes back (thinly veiled grati-whine)
- yesterday was better with my son, and mostly good with my daughter too
- that there were loads of NA beverages at the party last night. In addition to some waters and cokes i brought, there were NA beers and sparkling. Glad my only drinking related regret is that I drank too much water and had to get up to go to the bathroom too much in the night.
- that I got back to sleep when my computer also woke me up by making a weird noise at 4:30 a.m.
- for seeing a lot of nice people last night
- that I can have a break from people for a bit now. I have overnight guests who are lovely (good friends who just came in for the night for the party) and then some solitude and a bit more routine.
- for the compassion people displayed in helping with the party, with bringing thoughtful gifts, with loving their friends and wanting to help them.
- for all of you.

Grateful for a lovey sunrise.
Grateful for hot tea and a hot shower, both helped me to feel better, at least a bit.

On my lunch break. Hi to all.
Alpine so glad you are home and done with treatments! I hope you feel more like yourself soon. for checking in.
Zura sorry about the wind glad your son helped and all was not lost.
NL maybe we both fought off covid thanks to vaccines? I have had this feeling several tines in the past almost 3 years of my sobriety. Just a weird feeling in my veins that I am getting sick, anxiety and feeling cold but not chills. I wonder if it is my gut and Diverticulitis related?? Sorry grati-whine.
Sam glad you got good sleep.
Fearless, Hev, Free, Jack,Palmer, and all hello!

Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for a yummy pot luck with dear friends last night. Dry rubbed bacon wrapped Venison ribs, roasted rosemary potatoes, sautéed garden fresh swiss chard, and a quiche like dish.
Grateful for the safety of my home.
Grateful for good sleep.
Grateful for Sr and the GP.

Hey gang,

checking in finally to say hello. I've been struggling with awful fatigue lately and when it comes on I've learned to give myself permission to just let things slide a bit.
Feeling a little bit better this morning, thank the Lord

Anyway, still here and grateful to be alive and grateful to be safe

Hope you're all OK. I'm way behind with everyone's doings

Love to all x

Jack so glad you are okay overall!
Zura, I though of you last night as I decided to listen to an affirmations meditation.

Grateful
- for physical safety, plenty of food, and clean running water
- house will get cleaned today
- for one more day of cool before we go back into the high 80s then 90s to mid-90s. So gross for October, especially after the year we’ve already had. Sorry — that’s really just a whine. Not even thinly veiled
- that I have lots of leftovers
- for Costco
- that I can be more in my routine today
- for a consult with a gaming addiction person later today. Don’t know what will come of it but it feels good to at least explore yet another avenue
- to start yet another self-help book. I mean, one of these is bound to stick, right ?! This time it’s Fierce Self-Compassion (specifically for women but the author has an earlier book that is geared to everyone).
- for the GP

Hi all-
Grateful for more tea and soup as this virus is kicking my butt. Trying to not to worry about what I have to do and how I will do it while sick.
Grateful for my cats who are acting like mini heaters.
Grateful I have a job that I can manage around being sick.
Grateful the Phillies won(I know it sounds trite, but it's a nice distraction from all the horribleness in this world.)

Alpine--so glad you are home and are resting.

Zura, all we can do is our best, learn and grow and let the rest go ❤️
Jack, sorry you are feeling fatigue. I hope you get your energy back. I’m still having fatigue from this darn cold virus
Sam, me too. Hope we get better soon. The tired feeling doesn’t seem to let up
Alpine, so glad to hear you are enjoying being back in your own space
Numblady, I hope the game addiction resource helps. By the way, I know that book! It is good. The author, Kristin Neff is a Bay Area local though I don’t know if she lives here anymore. Fun fact - her and my therapist led meditations at Spirit Rock together
Glad many of you have mentioned Christmas. I gotta get on it. Plus my holiday cards
Grateful I guess I’m feeling a tiny bit better every day
Grateful to go out for a walk last night
Grateful to talk on the phone with an old friend from work who moved away during the pandemic. We still work together, just remote. We never talk anymore and totally miss each other. We promised to catch up more often
Grateful my friend who had her gallbladder removed is doing better
Grateful for cool Fall weather and th warmth of the fire and cat in my lap
Grateful for you

Sorry I've been absent. I sort of feel like I'm living in a nightmare.
Grateful the housekeepers are coming today. The house is kind of a mess. I just hate having to get up early for them. I wish they spoke better English. I have some extra work for them today but we pay them very well and often it's easy for them. Today I just have a little more.
I feel really badly that I was so crabby with my mom yesterday. She was going on about my sister that I hate and it just got my skin up. I probably won't be able to see her today because of the housekeepers. Maybe I can go later and bring her her papers.
Love and peace to all. Grateful I have this place to come to. Thank you all for being here.

Hello Grat PAC nation.
Aly hope you can enjoy your clean house once it's done.
Fearless, Hev and Purps I am not ready to start Christmas. I like Purps idea to skip it. It causes so much stress. I am not an organized religion type anyway. But I will rally and get things done eventually. For me it is all about family and friends and being together.
Sam I am rooting for the Phillies. Don't have a dog in the game but have enjoyed visits to Philly over the years when a good friend lived there.
Alpine thinking of you and hope you fell better soon!
Jack I hope you get your energy back soon.
Zura I like your affirmation too.
NL I like that book title. Hope it is helpful

Grateful for 34 months sobriety today.
Grateful for a 6 mile walk with ny hubby after work yesterday.
Grateful for leftovers for lunch.
Grateful for sunshine.
Grateful my husband and daughter made 30 some lbs of venison sausage Sunday. We use it for pasta sauce, chili, grits casserole, breakfast of course.
Grateful for all of you!

Hey everybody.
Alpine, so glad you're back home and done with chemo.
Sam, sorry you are not feeling well.
Jack, I hope the fatigue lifts soon.
Grateful for lovely fall weather.
Grateful for painting .. it helps me through the stormy times. And I'm definitely in stormy times, for no particular reason.
Grateful that everything passes and these uncomfortable feelings will pass too. Just gotta be patient.
Grateful for this group.

Good Morning 🌞

Purps - what is this Christmas shopping you speak of 😜. In all seriousness I don't "do" Christmas anymore, some people think im mad, others are envious.

Jack - sorry to hear you've been feeling poorly, sending energy your way.

NL - sending you cool weather wishes, hot weather gets oppressive, i understand. Summer is coming 😱😳. I'm madly trying to prepare.

Alpine - so glad your home, im sure you're far more comfortable there. Sending healing your way.

Sam - rest up, so relieved for you that you can organise your work around being unwell. I get annoyed on behalf of others when they can't get the rest they need when theyre sick.

Fearless - so lovely you got to catch up with your beloved work friend, hope your able to connect more often.

Aly - sending you love ❤️.

CBS - congrats on 34 months🎊. Impressive work for the family with the sausage haul!

Morning Gratitude:
Grateful for:
- nature 🌿🌷
- coffee ☕️
- each and every one of you.

Morning Intention:
- Keep pushing through, even when Im not "feeling it".

Morning Affirmation:
- I Got This 💪.

Best wishes everyone ❤️.

To those who are feeling a bit off - I'm with you. Having a hard time getting into a normal routine.
Still, I am grateful for -
Every single person here
Unseasonably warm temperatures
Laughing with neighbors over little stuff
Birds & our resident chipmunk family. Soon they'll be underground, but right now they are comical to watch.

Back tomorrow, hopefully with a better attitude.

Grateful

Its gotta be morning somewhere, eh?
Coffee this morning
Getting a room instead of an open noisy loft in the dorm like condo for long distance employees
Having some choices for possible positions coming up, the full time I'd like might be spoken for......formal interviews for that one are Monday. Im first interview of seven candidates
Sleeping overall better
Glad the days are getting shorter and colder. I like the cold.
For time off yesterday to do a laborious walk through the house and look at every electrical outlet box and switch box and try to come up with what we'd like where. Took 6 hours total to do walk through and take pictures, then write notes last night and this morning at 0500

I heard "Almost Heaven, West Virginia" today on my commute

I am commuting with someone to and from work tomorrow morning.
Driving home in nice weather to sleep at home tonight.

For all of you GPers, established and new
