Grateful I slept fairly well
Grateful we are narrowing down the colors for the house
Grateful for a calm day yesterday
Grateful Mr. A really liked the crockpot roast I made last night
Grateful I brought over 2 more lamps to the house in order to see what colors will look like. We won't be moving anything in until we get it painted and possibly put in a few wood floors
Grateful for all of you

Grateful I ran errands yesterday. I was pooped out after though and did not attend a new Women’s meeting that started last night. I’m looking forward to it next Wednesday. There were 2 here that fizzled out before the Covid19 plague hit.
Grateful I did some grocery shopping and will begin eating healthy again. I’d been loading up on sugar and carbs and I doubt that helps with Lurgy. We’ll see how I do. I did sneak in a cinnamon roll yesterday. At least I will be adding in yogurt and fruit. I also confess I bought a bag of gummy bears that accidentally got sent home with Gdaughter. That’s what happens when trying to be sneaky!
Grateful I can be sneaky and go back to bed.
Grateful for SR and everyone here.

Dee, you rule! Thank you for the new part.
Caramel, thank you so much for the clarification on the lurgy. When I looked up the definition and it said “fictitious” I thought that was awfully dismissive of people’s illnesses, ha! I see now that fictitious refers to the origins of the whole concept from the show.
Turs, sorry you feel the insurance woes so acutely too. I guess it’s more common than I thought. Our CFO had at least looked into it as she has a child with extreme special needs and reaches her deductible in the first month of the year. Because I work for a small outfit there just aren’t a ton of options. I’m just glad to know she looked into it.

Grateful for dog zooomies. I love how my dog likes to zoom and juke. Pure delight.
Grateful to have learned about mergansers thanks to you all.
Grateful for a bit of time to come by.
Grateful for a quiet house—one more night!
Grateful for SR and all of you.

Thank you, Dee!
Numblady, lol about the fictitious lurgy. Enjoy the quiet
Zura, hope you recover quickly!
Imv, glad you are jumping back on the health wagon. I’m right there with you
Alpine, decorating the new house sounds awesome!
Grateful none of our trees fell in the atmospheric river! It was so windy. The trees lining the side fence bent and brushed against the high windows. It was unnerving. Never seen that before as it’s not like the trees are that close to the windows
Grateful the temporary roof leak fix is holding in this storm
Grateful for no work travel this week. Not that I do much of it anymore anyway
Grateful to do my best to empower sonny boy without controlling him

Thanks for the new thread Dee!

Grateful for a beautiful day albeit unseasonably warm due to climate change I fear.
Grateful I snuck out of work and played tennis this morning. Now I will need to work later than usual to make up for it but so glad I have the flexibility.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for the Podcast "Huberman Lab" I recommend "What Alcohol Does to Your Body". I started it yesterday. That episode is 2 hours long. Need to finish it. Huberman is a neuro scientist at Stanford. He knows his stuff!
Grateful for yummy Indian leftovers form our favorite Indian restaurant.
Grateful for SR and all of you friends in the computer.

Alpine - Gorgeous picture of the Mergs. Your pictures are always so clear & sharp.
Grateful for the new part & for Dee who is always there.
Grateful for a little bit of weak sun today - I'll take it.
Grateful I didn't wake up coughing in the middle of the night, for a change.
Grateful for donuts for breakfast, though I shouldn't have.
Grateful I've stuck to my resolutions for 5 whole days now. The 'Lose 25 lbs.' one will have to wait.
Love to all.

Grateful Fearless and Turs did not have damage in what sounds like fierce storms
Grateful for only one meeting today.
Grateful I asked a good friend for help and he said yes.
Grateful for free book samples on Kindle. I can’t seem to find a book I want to read right now but at least I don’t have to pay to find out I don’t really like something or feel interested in reading it.
Grateful for unbroken sleep even though I had my coffee at 4 instead of 2 after getting stuck on a super weird meeting that lasted about 5 times as long as it was supposed to go.
Grateful for my floofy cat.
Grateful for this group.

NL, I am grateful for book samples too. It often takes me a while to find a book to read
Hevyn, thanks for the kind comment regarding the clarity of the picture I share. I enjoy taking pictures and have always enjoyed seeing other's pictures as well
Grateful the conference call with my Mom's SNF went as good as I expected and my sister did not try to engage with me on it because I do agree with therapy that Mom is physically where she is at. My sister tends to be a bully and tries to get her way and wanted therapy to keep her on.
Grateful that I think I finally found a white matches the trim. Who would have thought there were so many whites. The previous owners definitely did not no how to paint. The base board is either gray or the same color as the wall and goes up along the edge of the door trim and you can tell they did not move furniture when painting because there are many areas that are not painted at all.
Grateful for all of you

CBS, I’ve been into podcasts lately and out that one in my favs. Glad your son is ok. And yes to saying HNY all month long
Numblady, glad your friend said yes to help
Turps, glad you are ok over there 😊
Free, very good to see you
Grateful for free book samples too. I have a million in my kindle. I was thinking about checking out the library more often too. They also have movies so we don’t have to always pay for them
Grateful to rearrange the living room. I really love it and don’t know why we didn’t think of it before. The sofa now faces the panoramic windows showing the view to open space. I will spend my morning break in there with 😊
Grateful to finally finish YOU. Can now catch up on Yellowstone and Handmaids
Grateful for only one important work thing to do today. Grateful the coworker I’ve been backing up returns from vacation Monday
Grateful to plan to do some journaling and other writing today

CBS - So sorry to read of the upcoming root canal. Hope it goes more smoothly than the recent one. You are good to take care of it, though - I am the worst for procrastinating.
Alpine - About the shades of white - I always thought it was just bright white or off white .... nope. Pinkish/grayish/greenish/bluish. Our whole house is eggshell - what former owner painted it just before moving - I want some color.
Free - We read ya, loud and clear.
Grateful I slept again - no gagging at 4am.
Grateful our birds like the new squirrel-proof feeder. Squirrels have been sitting on ground checking it out. They'll likely find a way.
Grateful I pulled myself out of an after-holidays funk.
Grateful for our lovely group.

Hev, grateful you are out of the post-holiday funk!
CBS, sorry about the root canal -- not fun.
Grateful for a short road trip yesterday to watch the dramatic storm clouds and light on our beautiful ocean bay.
Grateful for a zoom with a support group this morning.
Grateful for a one-day break in the rain, need to get outside this afternoon to enjoy it.
