Grateful my mom ended up not going to my sister's. She didn't try very hard to invite her, my sisters are too much. She thinks she is going to die in a few years, my sister, because of her drinking. You'd think she'd try to act a little better. She is petty, jealous and cruel. I think my mom is getting a little tired of her too, maybe.
Grateful for my many, many blessings. Grateful for Astro's kindness so very much.
BKA, sounds like you had a fun couple of days with your teenagers! It makes me miss the fun times I used to have with my niece and nephews.
Love and peace to all of you. You are my rock. Thinking of you, Fearless. 💖💟☮💞

Stopping in early as I may go to bed early, we had to leave home a little after 4 am to get Mr. Alpine to the airport.
Grateful I got a bunch of things done today: Washed both Mr. Alpine's truck and my car, gave Riley a bath, watered the garden, did a bunch of errands, checked in on my Mom, went for a walk. Now off to make dinner in a bit
Grateful it is not hot today or windy
Grateful for another day to enjoy sober
Grateful for all of you

Grateful to go for a run today
Grateful there are some things I can control and there are choices I can make
Grateful has reconnected with an old friend whose family I really like. He’s been spending more time over there
Grateful for kindness

Grateful for my movie date with my wife yesterday.
Grateful to have had a full day off, those aren't often.
Grateful to catch up on all the series we've been binge watching.
Grateful to not do too much driving, gas prices are unnerving.
Grateful for my recovery, at least if I have anxiety it's with a clear head.

Grateful for a good night's sleep. This is supposed to be one of the hottest days this week. Grateful for a/c, wishing my ceiling fan was working.
Grateful my mom is still sleeping. I think sleep is so good for healing. I've sometimes heard as people get older they either don't sleep well or sleep more. Gladly, she seems to be sleeping well. I have to go to the library later for my mom. The library has a new thing where you have to pick up your books ASAP or they put them back. They didn't used to do it it's kind of a drag.
Grateful for all of you on this thread. Have a wonderful day/evening. 💖💟☮💞

Stopping in early because who knows where this evening will lead.. I know it won't lead to drinking.
Grateful to get several more errands checked off my list, still have more to go but I have to look into a few things first
Grateful for my mental clarity to be able to figure things out and cope with certain situations
Grateful for each and every day

Good to see you here Worried. I don't have grandchildren but I do have Grand-nieces who I am currently caring for.

This evening I'm grateful for
- having a full lovely summer's day
-finding my driver's license
- getting a key made for the garage
- watching my little nieces in the kiddy pool
-planting carrots and peas with my niece
- riding bikes and scooters in the drive way

Well it seems like summer just began and here we are at solstice. The sun is setting and tiny pink bathing suits are drying on the swing set which seems like the perfect flags for summer solstice.

If living isn't easy this summer may it still be sober.

Grateful to be tucked back into my home base for a couple nights.
Grateful our team made it through a hot evening and a dust storm.
Grateful for the monsoon storms slowly making their way into our metropolis.
Grateful to be riding the motorcycle to work for a couple days, it's a hot ride but much better gas mileage.

I'm grateful for the beautiful warm sunny day today.
I'm grateful that my grandsons birthday present came today and I'm so happy with the toys , they seem good quality.
I'm grateful that a tin of sardines is only 36p at Aldi and that gives me a good dose of protein and omega 3 fats. And I've got some delicious recipes.
I'm grateful that I've seen my grandchildren today.
I'm grateful that I've had a sufficiently active day today to feel tired now.
I love my grandchildren but I'm grateful that I've got a day off from them tomorrow lol

Good morning all. I'm posting now as I neglected to last night.

I'm grateful for
- my brother-in-law making it home
-sidewalk chalk in the driveway
- my little niece dropping peas into the holes I made in the garden furrow
- reading a chapter book with my neice
-centering prayer with the chapel group

I'm off to floss, make my bed and do some exercise.

Grateful for a potato frittata last night, and tonight we'll have leek, fennel, and ginger flans. Next week homemade risotto. I'm grateful I enjoy cooking and it's so much better when I'm sober and don't pass out while my food burns in the oven
Grateful my supervisor told me to stay home today, the air conditioning at the office is on the fritz again.
Grateful for a cool guitar lesson last night, Tom Sawyer by Rush.

Good evening all, it has been a hot day today. My sister's house doesn't have air-conditioning but they have a system of opening up the house in the evening and then closing it in the morning and this keep things pretty comfortable. I have the fan going and hair wet from a shower so I am pretty comfortable.

This pm I am grateful for
- good conversation with 6 year old niece
-weeding my sister's garden
-getting a money transfer set up super easily
- finally getting ahold of my sister

After the kids left this afternoon, I was working in the yard and a couple of three year olds on trikes came by. A grandfather and dad were in tow. The little boy looked at the roads we had drawn with chalk on the drive way and said, "This is so cool!". Those little kids went speeding around the driveway with such joy. Lovely.
