Grateful to get some grocery shopping done. I went to Grocery Outlet. I love that store. I got a ton of stuff for just $133. Seems like lately I'm spending over $300 when I go, with this inflation. Gas is close to $7/gallon here and I filled up my car and I couldn't believe how much it was, for my little car. Grateful we are ok. It just gets tiresome.
Grateful for the guy at G.O. who works there and has a little crush on me. He always remembers my name, tells me I have pretty eyes and goes in the back and checks products for me. He is so much younger than I am. That seems to happen to me a fair amount, almost my whole life, it seems like a lot of younger guys like me! It's a puzzle. I've gone out with a few of them and it's been fun, but none that I wanted to be serious about.
Grateful to be sober!
Grateful for you all so very much. Thank you Fearless for your kind PM. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I've been so low energy. Thank you for thinking of me and being there for me when I need you!
Love and peace to all. 💖💟☮💞

Alpine, your cooking skills are so impressive
Aly, of course those younger guys are going to be onto you 😊 I hope you are doing better and the ulcer is healing
Grateful Mr F made reservations for dinner at an upscale place. It was soooooo good!
Grateful sonny boy made a joke that he’s been sober for 13 years and he’s not planning on losing his streak. He’s 13 years old. Lol
Grateful for a nice evening with the weather cooling

This evening I am grateful for:

- having the courage to assert my boundaries
- catching up on lost sleep
- being able to have an easy going day whilst feeling under the weather
- being able to get out in the garden today (winter time here)
- having a safe, warm home

How clever of Sonny Boy! That is cute and funny. Thank you, Fearless for the nice things you say!
Grateful, I think, I fell asleep rather early for me and slept until 11 am this morning. I don't like sleeping that late, but I must have needed it and it is healing. I got up and went to the library for my mom. She is such a reader. Grateful I am feeling better about her lately.
Grateful that my cranky stomach doctor refilled my ulcer meds after 2 years and another doctor stepped in with a rush on a prescription I needed that expired. Grateful when things work out.
Grateful for my sobriety, ODAAT.
Grateful for all of you so very much. 💖💟☮💞

Grateful for my sleeping bag, cot, and the flannel pillow my daughter sewed for me.
Grateful to catch my limit of trout.
Grateful to fish with a good friend that I get to see only on my trips up north.
Grateful to just lay on the couch this afternoon, too hot outside to be doing much work.

Love you! Aly!
Grateful to grieve. Not sure what came over me but something triggered me today. Sonny boy is a teenager. He is becoming more rebellious. Conflict over chores and responsibilities. Something about this brings up memories of my past - one of my brothers being very rebellious, my parents reactions, my moms total passiveness. Worrying my son will go down a similar path as two of my brothers - suicide. Feeling sad about the loss of my dad. My mom. Complex grief
Grateful to feel all of my feelings
Grateful to recognize what I can control/not control
Grateful for the zen garden on the side of the house
Grateful to feel connected to a higher power
Grateful for sobriety

Hi Aly ☺️
This evening I am grateful for an enthralling tv series, which has me hooked and is making me late for bedtime 😁

Wow, Fearless that has to be challenging and upsetting. Sending you positive energy. That was the same way in my family growing up, although it was my Dad who was the passive one. Big hug to you.

(((Fearless))) I understand those feelings, older son was rebellious in his teens and daughter continues to display depression and the "ism's" at times. But both of them grew, and continue to grow, into beautiful and responsible adults now. It's a gift to watch their progress.

Grateful for that part of my journey in life, watching my children grow up and take on their very own characteristics and their path in life. I can't imagine what it would be like if I had missed this.

Fearless That must feel kind of scary given what you've gone through. You are such a great and thoughtful mother, I know things will work out well. Sonny is becoming a teenager and most of us were somewhat rebellious then. He loves and respects you. You two have a great relationship and I know you will get through this. All my love and prayers. 💖
Grateful for my blessings.
Grateful for all of you so very, very much! 💗💟☮💞

Grateful to have taken a walk with Mr. Alpine today
Grateful we had gotten a fire pit last week, we got a paver for it and set it up today and tried it out. Very nice, and Mr. Alpine, MIL and myself had lunch while we sat next to it
Grateful to see several birds at my bird feeder
Grateful for another sober day

Fearless, sending you love as you grieve.
Grateful for a quiet weekend where I got some of my chores done and blew the rest off to watch movies and take naps. A great balance.

Thank you all so much! I do feel better today. I also had a heart to heart with sonny boy and that helped
Astro, that is beautiful. Thanks for sharing about your kiddos
Grateful to drive to see in laws where it was much cooler and rained too. Grateful to have such a great visit. They are moving to another state in two weeks. It was so much fun talking about their plans and planning to visit them after they get settled
Grateful for SIL and her boyfriend who made these beautiful bracelets out of the great great grandmothers silver spoons. He is very creative and works with metal. He hammered them into bangle bracelets. The grandmothers name is scripted in them too. He made these for each of us girls - five of us. They are absolutely beautiful and so unique.
Grateful sonny boys closest cousin came back with us to stay for the week. I have to work but Mr F is planning a bunch of fun activities. I may play hooky later in the week
Grateful for each of you

Grateful to visit with old friends and celebrate a dear friends birthday.
Grateful to be home today, working and getting caught up on chores.
