Grateful for all the support for and sharing of dog love space and other unexplored pockets of our hearts.
Grateful Deserto is still a romantic.
Grateful that when I woke up this morning and started the day by stepping in cat poop that the damage was minimal and I managed to step in the only bit of it. (???!)
Grateful for rain though sweet doggo is just too precious to put her paws on wet ground so we will have to be figuring out something for daily business. She doesn’t seem freaked out by thunder or lightning much but even at a big ol’ 80 pounds she just wants us to know she is too delicate for wet paws. Mud is not an issue. Dirt, bits of grass and gumbo (just another way to say mud…term for our clay like soil)…no problem at all. It’s just. Those drops of water. So terrifying!
Grateful to get to work with a dog trainer yesterday in our house. The model is right up my alley with positive reinforcement being everything.
Grateful for all of you.

Deserto, the whole trip sounds amazing!
Grateful to do a little reorganization in the family room
Grateful for canvas prints on Shutterfly
Grateful for a workplace Zoom yoga session happening today. Never in a million years did I think workplaces would be doing such things. Love it!
Grateful for my cogs
Grateful to start Ted Lasso

Huge congrats, Deserto! That's wonderful. Always good to see you.
Grateful for some nice weather, although we could always use more rain. I hope we have another good rain storm soon.
Woke up feeling not so well this morning. I wish this bug or whatever I have would go away so I can get my flu shot, in hopes of not getting this again. I need a tetanus shot too. I'm not sure whether I should get a Covid booster. I guess I can ask my pharmacist. I hope she knows.
Grateful to see all the wonderful posts.
Mags, I missed so much, how are things going with your wrist? Did you have to have it operated on again? Love and prayers to my friend.
I got a PM from Least last night. She's at home with her daughters, I believe. Sending love and prayers to our girl too. I'm glad her daughters are there to help. I've been so worried.
Have a wonderful day all.

Deserto - Wonderful update! I'm so happy to know you're thriving & enjoying yourself so much. Please do keep us informed.
Chamois - so much more than something to clean our car with! Who knew. That's so cool. (Goat/Antelope)

PalmerSage - Yes, more urban - but still countryish. City is only a short drive with lots of stuff happening. I do better when I stay busy.
Fireplace in bedroom - oh, that sounds lovely.

Happy I had chance to check in & read all the grats. Love you all.

Deserto, forgot to also say congrats on your soberversary!
Glad the therapy helped you, Alpine! I really enjoy therapy
I would love to have a fireplace in the bedroom. I would never leave
Daisy, great to see you and glad the family is recovered
Turps, hope you had fun paddle boarding
Aly, feel better soon! Thank you for the least update. I miss her much.
Grateful this anxious sleepless feeling will pass
Grateful for coffee. But that probably doesn’t help my anxiety
Grateful for beautiful weather yesterday and probably today too.
Grateful to sit outside and have a long phone catch up with a good friend
Grateful to order a couple of creative art works for the family room, and throw pillows to match
Grateful for the cute but also mature formal way sonny boy is talking.lately. Like “it should be noted”, “additionally” , and “furthermore”. He’s had more writing assignments in English and is learning to use transition phrases. So adorable to hear him talk this way. I don’t tease or react though.
Grateful it’s Thursday and tomorrow is Friday
Grateful to save the energy and work decorating for Halloween this year. Didn’t do it last year either. Maybe next year.

(((Least))) I am so glad you got a ride. I am thinking of you every day. Following on your other thread. I really hope you get relief soon!
DB I am so glad your family is better from COVID.
Fearless I drink a good decaf coffee with just a sprinkle of full octane. I really enjoy it. Can't drink regular coffee because of PAWS, anxiety and acid reflux.
Palmer I am glad you got some nice feedback from a big boss.
Aly I hope you fell better soon.Have you talked to your doctor?
Turs that paddle boarding sounds so fun.

Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful for dinner out with a friend. I was the DD. She had 3 glasses of wine and it did not bother me at all. I just looked at it and told myself it was poison to me.
Grateful for 315 days of sobriety.
Grateful for another pretty day.
Grateful for SR and all of you.

This was the quote in with my Mutts comic this morning.

“If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”

Grateful to see least and to even learn of Whiners Anonymous. Least, thinking of you and so grateful for your neighbor who it sounds like is helping you with what you need as opposed what they want to give.
Grateful to think of Alpine walking along and saying hi to all the pups.
Grateful my mom and her siblings are helping out with my grandma. Just trying to monitor what is happening and get her transferred out of hospital as soon as possible, hopefully today.
Grateful to have no weekend plans other than trick or treating Sunday. Loads on the to-do list of course. But no real firm commitments. Grateful that when I drive us home from our friends’ house, I will be sober.
Grateful for a solid night of sleep.
Grateful to be meeting my boss and a dear old colleague for lunch today.
Grateful for all of you.
