Turs, that would be rough to even get a poem out. My thought about saying the poem is that what happened or didn’t is the right thing for right now. Much love to you. And visual, virtual and all other hugs your way.

Hev, really grateful for what you said about the truth coming out even if it’s a long wait.
Grateful we have less than a week until our last day of school (6/3).
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful to wake up sober with Billie right beside me on the bed. Grateful that when I lift up the blanket, her sweet face and beautiful eyes look back at me. Grateful to share my life with her and take care of her and give her a happy healthy life.

Grateful for the wonderful, fresh feeling of a shower, clean clothes, and clean sheets. Grateful that my brother is going to take me to the drug store after work today to get my scrips for next month. He is so good to me.

Fearless, I've never tried my son's VR! I feel like it would make me dizzy, especially while on a trampoline?
Numblady, I'm also grateful the school year is almost over (but I'll miss the structure it provides!)

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful I got a little bit of a head start on the laundry.
Grateful my younger son can finally bike downtown to see his friends.
Grateful that the best staff person I've ever had will soon join my new little team.
Grateful for a long weekend to think through some things.
Grateful to be sober.

Palmer, it is a dizzying experience for sure! I talked to another friend yesterday who said her husband bought his own VR and hangs out with his friends in there. They play mystery clue solving games. I’ve also used it for meditation. Another friend told me about a different application her and her husband tried but I’d probably get censored if I say the word. Lol. So many uses for VR!
Grateful Least has her brother close by
Grateful to be up early so I can get some chores done and water the garden
Grateful Mr F is adding drip lines to the irrigation. Fortunately we don’t need a lot and are planting drought tolerant flowers
Grateful to have time to cook and bake again. Yesterday I made some more homemade figgy pops and granola too. Grateful sonny boy likes my homemade chocolate bark with blueberries
Grateful to be picking paint colors for sonny boys room
Grateful to be going to a bbq tomorrow. Grateful two of my friends coming to the party have announced they are no longer drinking. Yay! It’s a sober revolution!

Fearless, my husband quit drinking a few months after me. And a good friend of mine that I used to drink with a lot has also quit! It does seem that there is a growing trend of going alcohol free. And my feed on Instagram is loaded with ads for alcohol free beverages.

Grateful that my husband likes doing dishes.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful for some needed rain this weekend.
Grateful for a Vet that makes house calls so my dog doesn't have to have an anxiety attack at the Vet office.
Grateful for SR and all of you.

CBS - Good news indeed.
Grateful for this weekend, in which we remember all who were willing to step up when needed.
Grateful MrH & I are rethinking our meals. His A1c needs to be brought down (Type 2 diabetes). It'll help me too. I wish I didn't always crave the bad stuff.
Grateful for the determination to exercise more. ugh - but I have to.
Grateful for humor & lightheartedness.
Grateful for you ALL - each & every one.

Grateful to have a wash load in the machine.
Grateful to be able to hear bird song and see all the greenery outside.
Grateful I coloured my hair last night and got rid of the grey ( for now).
Grateful for all I have.
Grateful for Tursiops amazingly positive attitude and grateful that she has the support and love from so many.

Grateful for many good memories of watching Gavin MacLeod on TV and listening to B.J. Thomas on the radio. They will both be missed by many.

Grateful for another day sober.

Fearless, I never thought of using VR for meditation! I'm sure my son would consider that suggestion total blasphemy, but I'm so intrigued!
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful that I organized my closet yesterday, did a bunch of laundry, and cleaned my younger son's room when he was out with friends. He's good about cleaning up, but this was on an entirely different level.
Grateful he was able to go swimming and play basketball for the first time in a LONG time.
Grateful my husband watched a movie with my older son last night so I was free to watch The Kominsky Method on Netflix - LOVE that show so much.
Grateful for the morning quiet.
Grateful for slow, incremental weight loss.
Grateful to be sober.

Palmer, I usually start the summer really excited for school to be over...then gradually flip to being really excited for school to start. I have been obsessively planning to get stuff lined up so hopefully we’ll have a blend of structure and space. We’ll see....

Grateful to hear all these ideas for the VR. My kids HAD to have them—well, my son did and I knew daughter would soon follow. But they mostly sit unused. Guess I shouldn’t give up on it all just yet.
Grateful for FBL’s avi.
Grateful for unstructured day, though with loads on the to-do list of course.
Grateful my son was able to have a sleepover last night and that the parents were able to go out while the boys hung at home.
Grateful for the homemade flour tortillas at the grocery store. Not high on the healthfulness scale....but so good.
Grateful for the day.

Grateful for FBLs avi. Thank you for the memories!
Grateful Palmer mentioned the Kominsky Method. I can’t wait to watch. I love Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin.
Grateful to see Daisy. You sound well 😊
Grateful for my little cats next to me on the couch and feeling the warmth of the fire
Grateful to go to the theatre last night with my boys. Saw Quiet Place 2. Such an awesome movie. So intense! First time in the theatre in two years!
Grateful to b getting my highlights and color done today
Grateful sonny boy has decided to get a professional hair cut. Still a non-traditional sort of skateboard look (which he is not a skateboarder) but at least I won’t screw it up
Grateful to be going to friends for a bbq later today. Grateful my friend agreed with my idea to bring Kumbucha for drinks since a few of us don’t drink anymore. Grateful for the sober revolution!
Grateful for our circle of trust here

I also love the Kominsky Method. We watched three of them last night. Really missing Schitt's Creek as we finished that series a few weeks ago.

Grateful for a good night's sleep.
Grateful for decaf coffee but hope I can drink the real stuff again someday.
Grateful for being able to play tennis again after a long covid/recovery/PAWS break.
Grateful for my laptop.
Grateful for SR and all of you.

Grateful for a quiet three day weekend.

Grateful for all who gave their lives in service to our country.

Grateful to have taken C out for a wonderful dinner Friday night at the hoity-toity hotel where all the city slickers stay to celebrate two months since our first date. Grateful Deserto has his cowboy boots firmly on the ground even while over the moon. It's a good feeling.

Grateful for Henry.
