Getting on late... I went for my walk on the beach.. Oh it was nice to listen to the waves crashing into the shore....Wow...
Grateful for the silence...
Grateful for the sunshine...but the winds will pick up later in the day...
Grateful for Gratitude...
Grateful for life in general...
Grateful for SR.....

Grateful the snow flurries didn't materialize.
Grateful for my surviving houseplants despite my black thumb.
Grateful for continued weight loss - doesn't amount to much yet.
Grateful to be sober with no temptation to cave.

Grateful, I think, to be going to my sister's and BIL's for a bar b que for a combination of my mom's bday and mother's day. I hope things go well. I am really grateful to be able to see my niece and nephews. They are such a joy to me.
Luke hasn't been doing so well lately. Grateful for anytime I have left with my Sweet Thing. :hug:

Grateful that Hev's plants are alive, and I truly wish I could say the same about mine. ;)

Grateful for my super comfortable bed, and a decent night's sleep.
Grateful that I avoided my tendency to overload my day and invite everyone over, especially since we're having family over next weekend.
Grateful my nieces and nephew have their piano recitals on Zoom, it's beyond adorable.
Grateful that I got some housework done yesterday.
Grateful I've gotten into the habit of waiting before sending certain emails.
Grateful to be constantly learning.

Grateful to be at the beach this morning waking up to the waves.
Grateful for my three children on this Mother's Day. This will be my first mother's day without seeing any of them as they are all grown and two live elsewhere. Although I will see one of my daughter's tomorrow when she joins us at the beach rental.
Grateful for some good sleep.
Grateful for sunshine and a walk on the beach soon.

Happy Mother’s Day to all women. We all care, nurture, love and create life in some way whether we have kids, fur kids, aspire to have kids, or no kids. Love to anyone suffering in any way today. Mother’s Day can be bittersweet for some. I lost my mom several years ago. She was mentally and physically ill, so Mother’s Day was always hard even when she was alive. I also went through many years wanting to have a child but not being able to. That was rough on Mother’s Day too.

Fearless - So true about Mother's Day being bittersweet. Many don't have the ideal Hallmark Card situation.
Grateful there'll be no more snow - but is it too much to ask for warmer temps.?

Grateful I went over to see my MIL. Grateful for her friendship and our mutual respect for each other.

Grateful my younger son went out of his way to connect with his grandparents (he's at "that age").
Grateful I didn't spend the day drinking and exhausted.
Grateful I had a bunch of treats and am back on track with healthier eating today.
Grateful to be sober.
