Grateful for this morning.
Grateful that alcohol sounds disgusting and like no kind of solution to anything at all. Grateful for the freedom of sobriety.

Grateful Tursiops is here.
Grateful I’m not in a too-competitive environment with the kids. I also think my son’s learning disabilities and behavior challenges help temper any temptation i might otherwise have in that direction by kind of reframing priorities. My daughter is such a perfectionist I find myself in the odd spot of encouraging her to not worry so much about school and blow off some assignments that are optional, etc.
Grateful for my work team.
Grateful for Internet workout videos even if I don’t really want to do that right now.
Grateful for this special group.

Turps, glad that you have no desire to drink during this time of loss. Glad you are still posting every day.
CBS, glad you are feeling better and hoping for good test results
Numblady, I experience those challenges - the behavior and perfectionist issues- mixed in there with my son too so can relate. Having too kids with such widely different temperaments such as you describe, would be tough!
Grateful for the deer in the front yard. Also grateful for our deer resistant plants 😊
Grateful to be up early and for coffee from Mr F
Grateful for an awesome lunch and fun time with friends yesterday
Grateful for one short meeting this morning
Grateful for Home Depot and everywhere I can find garden stuff

FBL - Good to hear you got vaccinated!
PalmerSage - That pound a week will add up - supposedly losing it slow means you'll likely keep it off. I was doing great & then MrH brought ice cream. Back on track today.
Grateful to have a clear head & nothing to feel guilty about.
Grateful for my new flip flops.
Grateful that the truth always comes out, even if it's a long wait.
Grateful to be buying flowers today. Hope I don't kill them.

Grateful for the life of Mr. T, as we lay him to rest later today.
Grateful for the unconditional love and generosity of spirit he always showed me.
Grateful for his humor, wit, amazing mind, and irrepressible appetite for life.
Grateful for his rebel spirit, insistence on living his own life, and absolute rejection of conformity, which gave me permission to tiptoe in that direction.
Grateful for his support that allowed me to find my way into healing and growth.
Grateful for his sons, who are my family now.
Grateful for his beautiful grandson.
Grateful I can say all this here to the Grat Packers. At the funeral, I hope to be able to say one poem, which will have to suffice.
