Grateful for a better night's sleep last night - VERY grateful.
Grateful that my older son is being a bit more proactive these days.
Grateful that we are having good discussions with my younger one, even though I know he's lonely and missing his friends, which is causing him to act up a bit.
Grateful for technology and telework.
Grateful for rainy, sleepy mornings (even though my kids are the only ones sleeping!)
Grateful for movies on demand and silly TV shows to break up the occasional monotony.
Grateful to be sober.

I'm grateful, too, for no desire to drink. Hard to imagine I once lived for it. Grateful to no longer be trapped in that terrible prison.
Grateful MrH had a phone conversation with the sister who never knew he existed (NY finally unsealed adoption records). She lives 2 hrs. away.
Grateful that no matter how old we get, life can still be full of surprises & welcome change.
Grateful to be more accepting when things don't go as planned - and not to take it personally.
