Deserto - Sounds like a very nice 5 wks. - sorry kitty had to leave. Congrats to your brother for his sober time! That's wonderful.
PalmerSage - I'm still waiting for my stress eating to subside. Grabbed a bag of corn chips just now & started munching. I'm not hungry & don't even particularly like them - just wanted to crunch something.
Numb - I'm glad your daughter wanted to make things right.
Grateful we were able to find masks because apparently now, in NY, everyone everywhere is expected to wear one?
Grateful I was able to calm myself down after almost losing it in the grocery store...I've been doing so well, but for some reason the sea of mask-wearing, anxious looking people was overwhelming.
Grateful to be able to express myself here & be understood.
Grateful for SR and the lovely people who dwell here.

<div>Yikes.. all that I typed disappeared.&nbsp; Oh well, a little too long-winded anyway, lol. Anyway...I am grateful for Fearlessat50's signature line.&nbsp; It is fitting at present. Trying (along with probably many, many others) to make wise choices and to proceed cautiously. Otherwise, tuning out for the most part the media (taking what is necessary and leaving the rest) can be helpful; moments of ignorance can be blissful.&nbsp; My boss, who is obsessed with the media reporting, thinks otherwise.&nbsp; To each her own, right?</div>

Grateful KevinJenkins has joined us. Grateful there’s at least a small chance this post will show up. Grateful the tech folks are working on it. Grateful Aly can be honest with us about where she is. Fearless too, even though I can’t see their words and can’t seem to reply. Grateful I at least hinted to my boss yesterday I can’t stay in my role. Going to talk to her some more later hopefully. Hopefully it will also be less awkward. Grateful for this group. &nbsp;

Had to go to the hospital to get a few things done. I am grateful for the health care professionals that are working the front lines during this pandemic. Just like recovery, I can't do this without their help and I can't do recovery without the help of the people on this website. Together we can do this thing known as life!
