Numblady, I’m sorry about your laptop but glad your IT team is rushing to your aid
Hev, I was thinking that too about the animals all being oblivious to the world drama. I love that my cogs are curled up next to me and purring just like always without a care in the world. Sonny boy was concerned and asked if cats and dogs could get the virus.
Grateful for people helping people, especially the elderly
Grateful to see more up close what sonny boy is learning in school and the online activities and how enthusiastic he is. I always knew he was but hadn’t really seen him up close in this way interacting with his class
Grateful my Dementia support group is having an online session tonight
Grateful to be researching the next step for a possible relocation for my Dad and moving forward as best as possible during a crazy time
Grateful to take advantage of some shopping deals, lower stock prices and airfares yesterday. Though I don’t know if the flight for July may need to be changed.
Grateful for door dash and instacart
Grateful to continue doing my best at work
Grateful for perspective
Grateful to know that nothing lasts forever and this too shall pass
Grateful to see each of you and your grats everyday

First thing my own (grown) son looked into. The answer, at least for dogs, is "no." But maybe don't let strangers pet them?

Grateful to those who look out for those who can't look out for themselves.

Grateful for those who keep their heads & help us be organized during times like this. I'm more of a follower, but respect the people who step up & unselfishly give of themselves to help make sense of things.
Grateful I'm sober & relatively sane to deal with the changes we're facing.
Grateful we can adapt to most anything with the right attitude.
Grateful that there will be an end to this - and we will be so thankful. Maybe even appreciate our lives more than ever.

Grateful like RZ for people coming together as a team.
Grateful for peace and quiet in the early morning.
I don’t know how to say this without making it sound like I am in any part grateful for this terrible pandemic because I am not but hopefully without in any way seeming grateful for it I would say I appreciated that I didn’t have to be at the St. Patrick’s Day party because there wasn’t one.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful to hang with my kids and just focus on them last night. It started out very frustrating but got much better and we played Hide and Seek, went in my sister’s hot tub, played uno, got some ice cream, and had dinner. Not in that order
Grateful for Fed Ex and the people still working there.
Grateful my computer works again, haha though there was probably a part of me that wishes it just went all the way kaput.
Grateful to be around family in these troubling times.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful to be healthy and to look for opportunities to help someone else today.

Grateful for those who continue to work in close contact with the public during this scare.

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful for coffee (I made it too strong today, guys!)
Grateful for the morning quiet, with no sound except the birds.
Grateful for my family's health and safety.
Grateful to have the luxury of a "non-essential" job, so I can focus on my own family and not feel the added pressure of always supporting the emergency response.
Grateful that I have projects and work to focus my energy around.
Grateful that sobriety has brought a better sense of perspective to my life, an even-ness that never existed for me before.
Grateful for this small corner in the far reaches of my house, where I can do what I want and need to do, even if it amounts to very little sometimes.
Grateful for SR and this thread!

Numblady, I had the same thought about St Patrick’s day party!
Grateful to be getting more work done, household chores and stuff done and family time with the shelter in place order
Grateful that my boys aren’t driving me as crazy as I thought they would
Grateful sonny boy is self motivated with online learning and teacher has finally figured out how to do zoom classroom video starting today
Grateful Target is still open and in addition to groceries and medication yesterday, I was able to buy some puzzles for boredom and an impulsive clothing item buy for myself. Are those not “essential” items?
Grateful to finish one of the puzzles as a family last night
Grateful to be planning a family hike later
Grateful to stay sober
Grateful for each of you

Welcome, ButterMarsh!

Grateful for sobriety, without which I'm pretty sure I'd be a self-pitying, deeply depressed, booze-soaked pile of human garbage right now.

I hear you, Courage. Grateful to be sober.
Grateful for the few incidentals we do have. I guess the Hoarders are selling their ware on Ebay. Toilet paper on Ebay? The stores are mad, but it's their fault. Why would you not immediately put limits on TP, etc when you see people leaving with 2-3 carts on the stuff? Hello. I don't get it.
Grateful for my mom's and my health.
Grateful that God is looking after me and my motto, Let Go and Let God.
So grateful for all of you posting. It's comforting to me right now to see you all.
I do have an appt at DMV tomorrow. I haven't received any notice that they are closed, so I'm going to go. I can't find any of my essential 'cards', which is scary. I don't know if I lost them or they were stolen or what.
Grateful the mail is still being delivered. Some things just have to be mailed.
Have a beautiful day, Grat Pack. Love and peace and good health to all. ♥♥♥

Aly, I tried going to the social security office yesterday and was advised they and all government offices are closed. It probably isn’t any different in your county

Smile Today I am grateful, oh so grateful,

that the dog next door who was left out in the cold rain, has been adopted! The shelter worker sent me an email with a picture of him with his new family. I have been praying for this elderly dog and God answered my prayers!

That made my day!

so grateful for least’s news about the neighbours doggie. So happy. ❤️ Thankyou least for keeping in touch with the kennels. You’re an angel ❤️

Grateful I can receive groceries to my home and all the workers that make it possible.
Grateful I’m sober with all the madness in the world.
Grateful for all of you
