Morning Gratitude ~ Part 96
Grateful to not participate in the weirdness I am reading about.
Grateful this headache I woke up with isn't from a hangover. It's still raining, which is great.
Grateful for this thread and all of you. So lucky on the day many years ago that I found SR. Probably not luck and I couldn't be more grateful, not only my hard won sobriety, but to meet the best, most self realizing, non judgemental, and loving friends ever.
Have a wonderful day. Love and peace to you all!

Grateful for quiet time to check in.
Grateful for time to take my daughter shopping yesterday. She was so effusively grateful I kind of felt bad since it was just mostly stuff she needed like shoes!
Grateful for an exchange with my son where I tried to show how cool I was by saying “what a Karen!” about some other lady, to which he says “you’re more of a Susan.” Which he then tells me is someone who is just kind of plain and boring. Everyone laughed at that and then to comfort me he says “well you’re interesting to us!” Ha!
Grateful for time on the drive when I read aloud to the kids and they really listened. My son especially.
Grateful that therapy is giving me a glimmer of hope about being the mom I want to be.
Grateful for taco night.
Grateful for another day.

It's been forever since I posted in a gratitude thread, so hopefully it's OK!
Grateful that my family is healthy and safe.
Grateful for mandatory telework.
Grateful for the time and space to focus on some important things I've neglected for a long time.
Grateful for my home.
Grateful for my sweet fluffy dogs.
Grateful for COFFEE.
Grateful for free will - I can make better choices if I want to.
Incredibly grateful for my sobriety (in years past, this would have been a depressing drinkfest).

Grateful to see all of you.
Grateful to see Palmer Sage
Grateful to keep things in perspective
Numblady, so glad your laptop if ok. I love the rose, bud, thorn analogy. My son learned about the “highs, lows and way to goes”. The way to go for the day is giving credit to someone who really made your day great. We do this exercise every time we eat dinner together as a family 😊. Yesterday none of us had a low. The rule is we always have to think of a high and way to go but we don’t have to have a low.
Grateful for technology and the virtual world to stay connected
Grateful to have extra time since not traveling for work these days
Grateful to make some really yummy healthy chocolate bark yesterday
Grateful for my treadmill
Grateful to talk to my Dad and help calm him down
Grateful meditation class is a small group and is not closing and grateful sonny boys karate studio is also still open. For now at least

Numb - You're interesting to us, too.
Courage - Yes indeed - and it arrives on Thursday.
PalmerSage - Always great to see you anytime!
Yes - a drinkfest for sure … and a bit of panic about where to get our 'supplies'.
Grateful for our gathering place here.
Grateful for bright sun, birds, chipmunks coming out of their underground home, deer munching on bushes - oblivious to all that's going on in the world.
Grateful to think rationally & calmly - not like in the old days of high anxiety from drinking.
Grateful for YOU!

Hi PalmerSage!
Grateful for my family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and all of you.

I was born on the first day of spring, March 20th. I never knew it was the first day of spring until recently!! I was always told by my mother it was the 21st (my favorite grandma's bday-how lucky)!
Well the healing, sanitizing sun can't come fast enough regarding this virus. I can't believe the insanity I woke up to. I guess it's necessary, but I never thought I'd live to see something like this. Blessing and prayers for anyone suffering. ARF is closing through the 31st, only certain workers can go in to care for the dogs and cats.
I woke up so late again. I guess I'm still adjusting to the time change. The Spring one is so hard for me to adjust to.
Grateful for calm, sane heads. Grateful for my health and the health of the people I know. Grateful for good sanitation.
Love, peace and good health to the Grat Pack and every one.♥♥♥

Grateful to see PalmerSage, the kind soul who even introduced me to this place to begin with!
Grateful that my IT department is fed-Exing me some stuff for my computer since apparently the water leakage was not without incident and now my computer, my lifeline to the very busy office, is unavailable.
Grateful that when I got so frustrated with my computer and then with my husband for bringing the wrong thing from home (after kind of berating me for not being clear in my communication I told him very specifically what I wanted he brought something else because he thought I didn’t mean what i texted him, sigh) I could do some healthy things. I did something with my son called “beating him up” which sounds terrible but is mostly me just throwing him around a soft bed and tickling him then sometimes hitting with a pillow. He LOVES it. Begs me to do it so I think it’s a good thing. I think the physicality is good for him (and me too in the process). Also grateful for a short walk to clear my head and get the kids out of the house for a bit.
Grateful I was able to go back to sleep the many times I woke up last night.
Grateful for my mom and dad and all the time they are spending with our kids. Not sure what it’s going to look like when we go home and I have to do this job but also keep them entertained, off screens, and learning.
Grateful for a new day.
Grateful for the delicious meals people keep cooking for me.
Grateful for all of you.

SO grateful to be welcomed back to the thread with open arms - thank you, everyone!
Grateful to have time and space to re-evaluate my life, again.
Grateful that everyone in my family is healthy.
Grateful to have a job that I can do remotely.
Grateful that I'm getting a break from my overbearing boss.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for donation centers and the work that they do.
Grateful that my husband went into the office this morning.
